We had an excellent time. The resort was very clean and all of the staff were kind and attentive. Lots of activities on the resort! We will definitely come back!

No microwave in rooms the ice machine and vending machine didn’t work and no free breakfast for an expensive stay with no balcony definitely never again

Nice resort, staff needs training on policies. Bummer to be told one thing and the truth be another Everything in this review is my honest opinion. I’ll give the good first: the staff was friendly, the room was very nice and clean, and the food was pretty good and decent for the price. The pool area was clean and the restrooms over there were very clean. Now the bad: Prior to our stay (Wednesday night) we called and spoke to a gentleman in which we inquired if our kids grandparents could come and sit in and watch the kids play in the waterpark. We’re local and decided to do a stay-cation for our son’s 10th birthday. The guy said yes but we would have to purchase a wristband for them at $25 a piece. He confirmed this multiple times, with my husband, my husband and I, and my father on the phone. Fast forward to Friday (after we’ve paid and stayed one night) and the grandparents come in to hang out for 2 hours, offered to pay additional money (on top of the $800 we’ve already paid for a 2 day stay) and the female manager who was very condescending and smiling as she said “I’m terribly sorry” (didn’t catch her name) refused to let them buy a wristband. All they wanted to do was watch their grandkids play in the waterpark (sitting in the cabana we already paid for, which is why we purchased one because we were told yes they could come in, also you can order food to the cabana but can’t take a tiny birthday cake in there, but ok won’t argue). It almost feels like we were conned into “yes they can come in for a wrist band charge” so we buy everything only to not have refunds and be stuck in it for them to change their mind. The staff needs training on what the policy is, because the first girl was going to allow them in if my husband showed his wrist band. Just a big bummer we paid all this money and now we’re sitting and celebrating on a king size bed in our room (they were allowed up there).

Perfect getaway with kids This is our second time staying at Country Cascade and we loved it each time. Allura Jane at Granny Cluckets was wonderful. The rooms are clean. There are plenty of activities for the kids and the location is perfect. We highly recommend this hotel.

Great family trip! Country Cascades was a wonderful experience. Our kids are ages 11 and 8 and they had the best time. We visited in December and the indoor water park was a nice perk. The mini bowling was a fun family activity. Our daughter loved the nightly dance parties led by Jonathan. Jonathan is a saint for leading a lot of the kids group activities! We ate at Cluckets and the on site pizza place and both you delicious. Our server Allora was great! Chrissy at the front desk was extremely kind and helpful with assisting us in changing our room and really elevated our experience! Would recommend to families!
