Atlanta I was travelling on a 14 day holiday with Riviera Travel to the Deep South USA & Texas, after a long journey I was pleased to arrive at a lovely hotel and get a comfortable room for my one night stay at the Courtland Grand Hotel Atlanta, I enjoyed a good night’s sleep in a comfortable bed, my room had everything I needed, hairdryer, toiletries, iron & ironing board, safe,tv,tea & coffee making, fridge, bedside clock,WiFi, good housekeeping throughout the hotel and staff friendly and helpful, the hotel had a nice gift shop, breakfast was buffet style which was very nice, thank you I enjoyed my stay at your hotel, being a solo traveller I wanted to share my experience, definitely recommend this hotel.

The quadruple charge you Review of Courtland Grand Hotel, Atlanta, GA My stay at the Courtland Grand Hotel was an absolute nightmare. To start, they charged my card four separate times, with one charge even coming through at 3:30 AM after I had already checked out. This was incredibly frustrating as I had to get my receipt emailed to me because the front desk clerk was busy with an audit. I had to call three times to get this sorted out, which was a hassle since I had a 5 AM flight and was already back home in Florida by the time everything was resolved. The service issues didn't stop there. When we ordered food from the hotel restaurant, it arrived cold, and the flatbread pizza was by far the worst I've ever tasted. However, I must give credit where it's due; DJ, the bartender, was amazing and provided a bright spot in an otherwise dismal experience. Room-wise, I had reserved a king room, but after being initially assigned one, I was moved from one side of the building to the other. Upon finally settling into the new room, I was horrified to find what appeared to be blood running down the side of the toilet. This was disturbing to say the least. When I tried to address the issue of the multiple charges, I called the hotel for over three hours without anyone answering. I then had to go through reservations and customer service, which took about 30 minutes, but the connection was so poor I could barely understand the representative. I was put on hold and then hung up on. After calling back numerous times, I was informed that these Wyndham properties are individually owned, and it could take about a week for someone from the hotel to get back to me. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone unless you're looking to be financially inconvenienced. Make sure to check your credit or debit card statements carefully after staying here. They also charge a mysterious "Destination Fee of $25.00 + Tax," which I found completely unjustifiable. In summary, unless you want a stressful and disappointing experience, steer clear of the Courtland Grand Hotel.
