Front desk attendant was not friendly at all I was told it was okay to check-in early that turned out to be incorrect so we wasted time & gas driving out there earlier only to wait hours & the shower drain was clogged with hair so it was constantly overflowing no maintenance on call so we were forced to take quick showers. Overall, it was very disappointing

I feel scammed. An absolute nightmare. This hotel is under active construction & I don’t mean minor repairs. This hotel was not busy yet my room was next to an active work zone. My children were terrified of all the banging, drilling & loud machinery. These are just a few pictures I have. I did black out my daughter. &The cafe/bistro is ran by the check in person so good luck getting food/drinks.

Not the best experience This was a frustrating experience. We had stayed here before and had a much better time. The first room we were in had a door with a lock that was difficult to open - the front desk guy didn't seem to take me that seriously but after opening the other room it was clear that there was an issue with the first lock. After showers I discovered that the tub was extremely slow to drain. I reported this as not draining at all at first, but realized it was draining so I thought I'd just deal with it. It was also a weekend and there was no one to check on it. The next night the drain was still slow (as in lots of water around your feet) and I also struggled to drain the sink after rinsing out swimwear. The front desk didn't tell me how to unplug the sink but when she came up to give me new keys for a different room, she showed me how. This is not intuitive (it's hidden behind the faucet) and IMO there needs to be a sign or something. So late at night we ended up in a different room. The first room also had a fridge that was not working well and unstable on it's shelf. I expected more from a Courtyard property. The balconies were cute but not really useful. The second room was quieter and I didn't hear the ice machine. The hotel does have a pool but it's small and the smell of chlorine is overwhelming even before you get there. We did not swim there. I didn't use it, but I appreciated that they had a laundry room and business center. I think they also had a fitness center. There was no breakfast. It was near the zoo/water park, which was nice. That was the main reason we were in Columbia. It was also near other shopping and we got some of our meals at Kroger.

Great Experience The desk staff was friendly and helpful and room was clean. The bed, especially the pillows, were very comfortable. We would book again!

Scary Hairy Shower and the French Microwave Fairly standard hotel experience but a few issues made it so I won’t want to come back to this hotel again. There was some confusion when we arrived. Since it seems our Airbnb reservation didn’t go through properly. Which I don’t hold against the hotel itself. Most importantly the shower wasn’t cleaned. Tufts of hair all over the shower (wall and ceiling) with shampoo and conditioner completely empty. MGMT offered to move us to a new room, but our kids had were ready for bedtime so we chose not to. The pool was nice, minus the large floating clod of hair complete with a false eyelash. Not something that really impacted my review, but the microwave in the room only has French text on the buttons. _‍♂️
