Hotel at a Glance: Days Inn Warren

Some hotels have nice backyards, but Days Inn Warren’s backyard is awfully impressive. It’s the Allegheny National Forest, a 500,000-acre park that’s vividly colorful during the spring and a hiking hotspot in the summer. Surrounded by maple, beech, and birch trees, this hotel puts you right on the outskirts of one of the country’s most charming mountain regions.

  • Where you’ll stay: Guest rooms have free WiFi and a flat-screen TV.
  • Start the day with a complimentary breakfast, or slow down with a meal at the on-site bar.
  • Stay relaxed with some time in the sauna or a dip in the indoor pool.
  • Nearby attraction: The Kinzua Dam, one of the largest dams east of the Mississippi River, is less than 10 miles away.
  • Explore the outdoors amid the plateaus and valleys of the state’s sole national forest, the 517,000-acre Allegheny National Forest.

Lots of great hiking around the town within 20 min. Staff was great, little bar/restaurant was good.

Dump Place is a dump, broken appliances, dirty room, missing items, pool was closed, wires hanging out of heater, room looked nothing like the pictures advertised..It was a scam..worst hotel experience I think I've ever had...................

Hotel Horror I know this place is cheap, but don't risk it! Receptionist was rude. The bar/restaurant was closed for renovation or whatever. Same with the "sauna" The elevators did Not work causing me to walk up 4 flights of stairs where the smell of mold and chemicals is enough to knock you out. You can visibly see the mold in the stairwells. My family swam in the pool for an hour, got a hot shower, and checked right back out.

Unbelievable experience. Where do I start...I have never been in a motel like this. I am sure at one time it was a lovely facility. I could not turn on my tv and waited 2 hours for maintenance to get 2 AAA batteries for the tv remote. I had no phone in the room so when there was a problem or question, I had to go to the front desk. There was no clock in the room, nor any USB port. To get ice, you have to go to the front desk and the clerk went into the bar/restaurant to get it for you. The bar/restaurant was closed. I was given a pool side room, and there was a party of children scheduled to use it - who screamed until 8 pm. In the morning when I went to iron my blouse, there was an iron, but no ironing board. I was told that there was a new owner and the 4th floor was in the process of being remodeled. My recommendation is to wait before booking a room here. I was apprehensive of having breakfast here, and went to Tim Horton instead. I usually look at review, especially bad ones as from generally cranky people, but believe the reviews about this place. Hopefully the new owners will improve the place. It look like the restaurant and patio area could be nice.
