Good value for money but comes with its flaws I've just returned from my second stay at this hotel. I previously visited in November 2023 and I gave it a 4 star rating. This time around I'm giving it a lower rating than before. There's pros and cons to staying here so thought I'd list them. Pros: Location - it's literally so close to Disney. A 10-15 minute drive to any of the Disney parks and a further 10 minutes to the universal resort area. Plenty of everyone's favourite restaurants nearby and celebration a short 5 minute drive. I couldn't fault it for that. Pool area - lovely pool area for the price of this resort. Really big pool area and a smaller one just before with hot tubs as well. It's usually very busy especially on the weekend. Value - you just cannot knock the value of this hotel. We booked through virgin holidays for 2 weeks and in comparison to the other hotels in this price bracket it's miles ahead. I'd rather go cheaper with this hotel and rent a car. Also booking through them should get you a 3pm checkout and a pool view room. Both a must. Cons Room - it's a toss up for what room you got. When we went previously we got a newer room with floor length windows and new air conditioning. This time we didn't the room was really fousty and felt damp. It also had a bit of a smell to it and by the end we were happy to leave. We went to my parents room and found there's was a newer room and they had no problems like we had. Definitely ask for a newer room as the old ones need some more work. Also we had no hot water on one of our evenings. House keeping - it's really hit and miss as to whether they actually clean your room and at what time. We had our room not cleaned a couple of times and when we asked for an earlier room clean as ours once wasn't cleaned when we got home at almost 4pm they then didn't come the next day. My parents had there room cleaned about 5 times over 2 weeks. Management - we had an anniversary to celebrate while here so contacted them in advance if they could do anything nice. They not only didn't even acknowledge it but didn't do a thing. They gave us the wrong room to start as we were meant to get a pool view room with our booking and we had to ask to chance even though they had plenty of pool view rooms available. If you have any queries we all found them very unhelpful. You need a car - nothing to do with the hotel but the location while being great you have to drive to get anywhere if you don't have a car don't stay here. Laundry - As we had a 2 week holiday we needed to do some washing while away. The laundry situation there is really bad. Most machines don't work or have been removed and to use them you need tokens which you can only get at reception. Be prepared that when you find one you will need to then mission to reception before or after to get them. Not ideal. Weekends - the weekends here are busy. It's hard to get a decent car parking space and it's generally busier by the pool and all around the hotel. As it's a cheaper hotel it attracts a lot of people here for weekends entertainment. The resort has a strong smell of weed all around it. Overall I'dsay this is a good hotel for the money but it does come with its drawback. We probably would visit again but definitely not for 2 weeks. We were barely in the room which is a blessing as it's was such a sticky mess of a room. They definitely need to put more money in and renovate the remaining rooms and get better air conditioning and ventilation units in them too.

Family of 4 review We had a brilliant time at Delta Hotels Orlando Celebration. We are a family of 4 (2 adults + 2 Children aged 6 & 2) we were put on the 8th floor of building 4 which had absolutely stunning views of the pool and you could see Kissimmee old town attractions like slingshot and sky coaster. Beds were comfortable and had plenty of storage space and a mini fridge. Staff are friendly and accommodating. Pools are amazing with large cool pool, medium sized heated pool which my kids loved and a hot tub area which was absolutely lovely. Only problem we had was it was advertised as having laundry rooms. We located the one of the 8th floor and it was empty so went down to 2nd floor and all the machines had “out of order” stickers on it, resulting on us having to head to a laundromat Overall it was a great stay, felt safe and secure and we definitely would stay again!

A good stay BUT could be improved further I am a frequent traveller to the Orlando area, but this was my first stay at this hotel booked with a package with Virgin Holidays for 14 nights. I was travelling alone. I was given a warm welcome on arrival, and a deposit of $150 was taken to on my credit card to cover any charges to my room, the resort fee was included with my package. I was allocated a room on the 4th floor of building 6 overlooking the pool. The room had 2 queen beds which were very comfortable and as requested by me before arrival had an ADA accessible bathroom with a roll in shower and seat. The bathroom was one of the most accessible I have stayed at in Orlando, but would benefit from a shelf/cupboard to put your own toiletries etc on. The bedroom was slightly smaller than other hotels I have stayed at in the area, which made turning my mobility scooter round in the room quite difficult, and the door was difficult to open and hold open while trying to navigate into the room on my scooter. When I arrived at the room there was a very large dehumidifier fan running in the room. I was told by the Bellman who helped me with my luggage that this had been left by mistake by maintenance after they had finished working in the room. After he left I turned it off and left it in the corridor outside and it was collected later. This room was located near the lift and otherwise was quiet with no noise from other nearby residents, which I appreciated. The room does not have a wardrobe/closet instead having a rather strange and imposing tower with open shelves and a very small space for hanging clothes with just 6 coat hangers, which is ok for a short stay but not ideal for a longer holiday or if the room was at full occupancy. The open shelves made the room feel very untidy the whole time as you were unable to shut away any clutter. There was also a chest of drawers with 3 drawers underneath the large TV with an adjoining fridge unit with no ice box, and 1 drawer in the unit between the beds, the TV remote wasn’t working properly but was soon changed on request. The layout of this room seemed very cramped with the desk crammed up in the corner with a floor bar which made sitting at the desk very difficult especially as the chair was so heavy to move. The air conditioning unit and bathroom fan in this room were very noisy, but the a/c was easy to adjust the temperature on. The room also had an iron and full size ironing board, and a coffee maker, I would have appreciated having an electric kettle so I could make my tea but brought one with me just in case I needed it. On the 7th day of my stay I returned to the hotel at about 10pm exhausted after a long day at the theme parks to find a message from the hotel advising me that housekeeping had reported that their had been a leak in my room resulting in a wet carpet and I would need to change rooms. The hotel did arrange for a bellman to come and help me move my luggage but it took me several hours to pack and unpack in the new room and as I was already very tired after a longer than usual day (I have ME/CFS) so this unexpected room move severely impacted my energy levels the next day as well. To be honest the damp patch on the carpet was really quite small and I would have preferred to stay in the same room but was told I had to move due to their cleanliness standards and for my comfort and safety. The second room I was allocated after the leak was on the ground floor – I never like being on the ground floor in a hotel as I feel less safe on the ground floor, but there was no other accessible room available so I had no choice but to accept it, Paula did do her best to accommodate me. This room over looked the car park and I was bothered by noise and car headlights coming and going day and night. Also I had to have the curtains drawn all day and night for privacy due to people walking past the windows all the time, as a result the room was very dark which I found really difficult given I also have a sight impairment, there is very limited lighting in the room - there are only two table lamps and one fairly dim overhead light in the entrance, and I think this is something that needs to be improved. I experienced quite a lot of noise from other guests in the area by the lifts as well in this room. I also found accessing this room even more difficult as it had a steeper threshold at the door which was more difficult to navigate with my mobility scooter/ecv while trying to hold the door open at the same time. The layout of this room though was slightly better and I could at least sit at the desk this time, as it was located away from the window. In this second room the air conditioning was slightly quieter but the bathroom extractor fan was much noisier. Housekeeping serviced both the rooms every day which was greatly appreciated and they always left a plentiful supply of clean towels and 2 bottles of water. Each building is supposed to have a guest coin operated laundry on the second floor, however I understand from other guests that in other blocks the machines have been removed and I encountered several guests trying to find a laundry they could actually use. In my block the laundry room had two washing machines and two tumble driers. Unfortunately one of the washing machines and the token machine were out of order for most of my stay. Due to my many medical conditions access to a laundry is essential and was a factor in my choosing this hotel, but given the demand for the one working machine it meant that I ended up having to use the machines very late at night and constantly visit the lobby to get tokens which was not ideal. Breakfast is not included in the package I booked, but is available daily on site in The Pointe Restaurant. They offer a hot and cold breakfast buffet and also cook eggs and omelettes to order which were delicious. However, I thought the cost was expensive at $25, but there is an IHop, Golden Corral, Waffle House and Panera Bread in walking distance which offer better value. I did not use the on site Grill or Bar, but the Starbucks was handy especially for fresh fruit cups and milk for my essential cup of tea. Again there are plenty of restaurants within walking distance of the hotel. There is also a Walgreens handy for essentials just across the main road. I didn’t use the pool area or hot tub but it never seemed overcrowded or noisy when I passed by and I did note that they had a hoist lift for both the pool and hot tub so may use this next time I visit. I also didn’t use the hotel shuttle bus which had to be pre booked and offered a very limited schedule. However, it was super easy to catch the public Lynx 56 bus on the US192 which operated a service approx every 30 minutes for $2 each way to the Magic Kingdom Ticket and Transportation Centre and from there you could transfer to other Disney parks on the Disney transport system, they also offered day passes. It was relatively easy to board the Lynx buses using my mobility scooter and the bus drivers were always very helpful and patient as I had to reverse up the ramp to get on. The Lynx 55 bus from the same stop goes along the US192 towards Four Corners. The bus stop is only approx 300 yards from the hotel, and I felt relatively safe scooting there and coming back each day, despite the fact that there is not a footpath/sidewalk all the way to the US192 from the hotel, and there are also some fairly large potholes as well! Sometimes I used an UBER/Lyft taxi (cost varied by time of day) but I needed to book an XL vehicle to ensure they could get my scooter in. Some drivers were more helpful than others with lifting this despite me always sending a message to the driver to say I would need this help, but one or two remembered me from my previous trips and were extremely helpful. I found all the staff at the hotel to be very helpful and friendly. The weekends were definitely busier in the hotel than midweek. I loved seeing the cats that could be seen popping out from the shrubbery round the pool area in the evenings. I always felt very safe in the hotel grounds and access to the accommodation buildings was via your door key card which added to the feeling of safety. I am due to go back later this year and would definitely consider staying here again, BUT only if I was able to get a higher level room and some extra lighting in my room, I would not want to stay on the ground floor again.
