The Las Vegas Strip: 24/7 Entertainment and Fine Dining

With an almost unlimited variety of casinos, bars and nightclubs, and live entertainment, the general consensus along the Las Vegas Strip seems to be “go big or go home.” And you can go really big here. Make a beeline for the dozens of 24-hour casinos lining the neon-lit Strip to tango with Lady Luck in high-stakes games of roulette, blackjack, and poker; or grab a front-row seat to the city’s over-the-top glitz at nightly magic, acrobatic, and musical performances. Be sure to stick around for mealtimes—casinos on the Strip are known for their fine-dining restaurants and extravagant buffets overflowing with crab legs and prime rib.

Even Sin City isn’t all casinos, all the time. Go shopping at the high-end boutiques found inside most hotels on the Las Vegas Strip, or head to Fashion Show Las Vegas to browse racks at Neiman Marcus, Macy’s, and Saks Fifth Avenue. You can also virtually travel the globe in just a few city blocks, thanks to the Strip’s re-creation of the Statue of Liberty, the Eiffel Tower, and Venetian canals. And you’ll find a surprising number of activities in Las Vegas for kids hidden amid the raucous nightlife.

Mix of Good and Not-So-Good. Would return if room rate were close to same. Good to Excellent Very nice size room (5*) for price. Kitchen very well equipped (5*) appliances, utensils, plates, etc Plenty of hot water, very good parking, location of was very good for us. 4.5* Check-in was prompt (and NOT charged extra for 50 min early check-in!). 5* NO RESORT FEE! 5* Not so Good (not using word BAD as we didn't think any thing at this resort/facility was BAD (following not in any particular order, just as we thought of it.) 1. bathroom sink stopper was stuck, very very slow drain. I used a kitchen spoon to pry up the sink stopper. Then worked fine for us will in the room (3 nights). 2. Room was handicap access. The shower did not have a light, the shower area got very wet (outside the shower the floor got very wet from taking a shower with curtain slightly closed). 3.5* 3. very little counter space in bathroom (2*), very Large bathroom area. 4. limited electrical outlets (as compared to other lodging used on 3 week trip) 2*. 5. WOW ! The entry door was heavy, difficult for us to open, keep open 2*. 6. little black hairs found (likely a dog). found in bathroom sink and ice maker. 1.0* 7. put extra towels on patio table (w 2 chairs). Table was so dirty (dusty?) that made towels soiled with towels being wet. 2* 8. hair dryer barely worked (used our own). 1.0* 9. drapes in living area, and bedroom are electric open/close. New to us. Took some time to figure out. 3* 10. Went to pool area several times. Very nice looking (4*), but seating/reclining seating was insufficient for the number of people using. 3* 11. We had a ground floor room. moderate amount of foot noise from above. And table/chair noise from furniture being moved around. 3.0* Summary: believe this resort maybe be (or was) part of a Time-Share resort. Value for $ 4* We would consider returning, now knowing the 'not so good' = 3.5*

Safety and Cleanliness Concerns* *Disappointing Stay at Rose Desert* "Our stay at Rose Desert was disappointing. Broken glass on the floor injured my daughter's foot, and the issue wasn't properly addressed. Additionally, when we requested room cleaning, we were told it couldn't be done until the next day. The bathrooms were dirty, and there were crumbs of food on the nightstand, so I had to clean the room before letting my family in. The pool area was also noisy, making it difficult to sleep in the morning if your room faces the pool. This lack of attention to safety and cleanliness fell short of our expectations. Hopefully, the hotel will take steps to improve."
