Doubletree By Hilton Manchester Downtown Excellent staff to include housekeeping. Everyone was very friendly. The lounge is open, but they did not serve food in it because the kitchen is being renovated. I slept very well. The AC cooled the room nicely. TA lists this property as Pets Allowed (Dog / Pet Friendly), but my allergies appreciate that they are actually pet free! Parking is 15 a night. Sadly, there are a lot of homeless folks. This could be uncomfortable for some.

Enjoy historic pride and modern convenience—from elevated city views to an indoor pool, fitness center and airport shuttle—making every stay both grand and gracious!

What You Get

  • Stay for up to two in a king room or up to four in a queen room

  • Additional Perk: Parking included, limited to one vehicle per reservation.

Manchester, NH: A Legacy of Industry and Innovation

Once celebrated as the "Queen City" of New Hampshire, Manchester bears the mark of a proud industrial past. Along the banks of the Merrimack River, textile mills once powered the city’s economy, drawing workers and innovators who helped shape the region’s destiny. Today, many of those historic red-brick structures remain, repurposed as cultural centers, lofts, and businesses, standing as dignified reminders of the city’s resilience and ingenuity. This proud heritage weaves seamlessly into the present, where history is honored while progress defines the city’s spirit.

Modern Manchester is a thriving hub of commerce, culture, and recreation. From the bustling energy of Elm Street—lined with restaurants, theaters, and local shops—to the civic pride embodied in SNHU Arena and the Currier Museum of Art, the city radiates both tradition and vitality. Its proximity to the White Mountains, Atlantic Coast, and Boston makes it a gateway to New England exploration, while its own story of reinvention offers visitors a chance to experience a community that honors its past even as it embraces the future.

Training is needed I have stayed at this hotel many times. I’ve always had a pleasant stay, except for my last stay. As a habit I always discard old clothing at the end of my stay. I checked out at 4:30 AM with the front desk. Gave him my key and room number. I was than charged an extra night. When I called and spoke to the front desk, they had said to talk to Josh. They gave me Josh’ voicemail. Two days late, I still had not heard back from Josh . I called him and he said he didn’t receive my voicemail. He said, housekeeping went in at 4 PM. He said because I left some clothes in the room, they charged me the extra night. And he blamed me for not letting them know and said next time I should tell people I’m leaving clothes. However, there was nothing else left in the room, except for three shirts a pair pants, and old jacket. I told Josh I’ve been doing this for 20 years. I have never had an issue. I tried speaking to another manager today. I was giving back to Josh. He continued to blame me. If I gave them my room keys and checked out in the morning how is that not checking out? In addition, I had two rooms, my brother checked out ay noon and the front desk agent asked if both rooms were gone and my brother confirmed. Yes we are out of both rooms. yes, Josh said he would refund me without a problem. However, good customer service is not blaming a guest for this issue.

Worst hotel experience I stayed at the hotel as an advisor at DECA conference . When I pulled back the sheets in the bed, the under sheet had bloody stain on it . When I notified the reception , I was brought sheets and told to change them myself. I have never experienced anything like this in a Hilton hotel. The night manager said no housekeeping, here are clean sheets. Did not offer different room. Will be filing complaint in the morning.

Terrible customer service I booked the hotel for my 18-year-old daughter so she could attend a convention. When she arrived, she was turned away because she was not 21. The front desk support and the manager stated that it is their policy that a guest cannot stay unless they are 21 or over. Nowhere in the booking did this policy read. I am disgusted, shocked, and appalled that a hotel would lack such regard for a young adult but furthermore, the fact that this policy doesn’t read anywhere in the booking and to find out in such a terrible way with such awful disregard from the staff working there. I just want to forewarn those that might be considering.

Standard doubletree! We stopped here on a drive because we got stuck in a blizzard. It was a standard doubletree that’s nice/clean. The staff - incredible service. I appreciate their help. Parking cost $15 which is annoying. No upgrade with status but overall standard doubletree
