  • Lounge in one of the chairs surrounding the outdoor pool.
  • Play a round of golf at the hotel's professional 6-hole putting golf course; unlimited daily access is included.

Beyond the Las Vegas Strip: Old Vegas and Red Rock Canyon

It can feel like the entire city of Las Vegas revolves around the Strip if you never venture beyond that neon-lit corridor. But there’s plenty to see and do once you step off Las Vegas Boulevard. You can find a taste of Old Vegas on Fremont Street, where vintage signs and showgirls crowned with headdresses recall the days of Sinatra and Martin. Beginning at dusk, a canopy of more than 12 million LED lights erupts in a psychedelic light-and-music show every hour. For an aerial view, zoom down the center of Fremont Street on a zipline.

Nature puts on its own show at Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area, a landscape of fiery-red sandstone formations and limestone cliffs just 17 miles outside the city. Motor down the 13-mile scenic drive or ditch the car and strike out on any of more than 20 hiking trails that course through the region’s otherworldly topography.

The hospitality of all employees from housekeepers to management. Very clean and quiet to be on Fremont Street. The pool was clean, beautiful gum, and I loved unlimited putting quarters located on site!

Last minute find!! This was a last minute decision. I had been reserved in a different hotel when there was an issue with my reservation which led me scrambling to find another place and fast! My mother in law and I flew in from Phoenix and found this place! I liked that it was right off of the old strip on Fremont St! Upon our arrival we checked in.. D and Leslie are friendly, very communicative.. we enjoyed them!! Open bar for 24 hours was a plus.. complimentary coffee in the am! Rooms were clean decent size. Shower and vents could have been cleaned more efficiently and the walls over the beds could had been wiped down. The only things I did not like was upon checking in your charged an additional fee for the remainder of the days you stay for amenities!!!? Now I did not use any of the amenities and they were mandatory? I think it should be your choice but hey it is what it is!! Lastly, the golf course area could have been tidy up as there were napkins and other things on the ground due to patrons not using an actual trash!!!? There is parking which was good! This may not be a spot for everyone but if you’re looking for a great location next to the highway and off of Fremont St and affordability then this may be the place for you! Finally… while leaving.. this morning… there was a huge roach in our room! I’m not exactly sure where it came from as we spent 3 days here and saw nothing. So that may be something the owner may want to look into!

SOLID QUAINT BUDGET- FRIENDLY QUIET DOWNTOWN DIGS! This place is a wonderfully quaint budget-friendly spot for quiet sleep after hot days and rumbling nights in sin city! The staff is exactly a friendly as they need to be and the AC works great! The mini golf course is such a fun kitchy retro vibe for the courtyard. Some folks were complaining about lack of blankets, but the light comforter between two sets of sheets were plenty for me as a hot sleeper from southern Wisconsin visiting the desert. The furniture is a little worn, but everything seems clean and the utilities work fine. HIGHLY RECOMMEND for the budget traveler visiting downtown Las Vegas!
