Great hotel close to Disneyland Great hotel. I stayed here for three nights while in town on a girls trip and loved the experience. It’s close to basically everything you’d want to do in Anaheim. The inside is beautiful. My room was great and one of the best rooms I’ve stayed in. The bed was so comfortable and the room fit all my needs. I had a king suite and could not have been happier. The inside amenities and the restaurant were better than what I expected and worth the price. Didn’t love the steep parking price but worth it for the stay. Also, the hotel is very close to Disneyland if that’s your thing. We went for a day and got there in less than ten minutes. Overall, would definitely recommend.

Exceeded Expectations Stayed here for 9 nights for a family vacation to Disney. Honestly, we weren’t expecting much given the mixed reviews, but I’ve honestly found that most of the hotels around that area are pretty similar, catering to families and not luxury. Check-in was smooth. Our room was a 1 bedroom with a “fireworks view”. Room was comfortable, with a pull out couch in the main area, small bar fridge and microwave, and a table with 4 chairs. The bedroom was not massive, but large enough for us. There were also lots of electrical outlets and USB charging ports throughout the room. Hotel staff were generally responsive to requests over SMS or through the Hilton app. The breakfast is pretty much the standard Embassy Suites fare, with made to order omelettes, pancakes/french toast, cereal, bacon/sausage, oatmeal and yogurt/fruit. We appreciated that they generally let things run a bit past the 9:30 closing time, and never had an issue getting a table. We also used the laundry facilities a couple times - they are spread out on a few floors and cost about $4 per load (so $8 for a wash and dry). Access to Disneyland is fairly convenient. There is an ART bus stop right outside the door of the hotel where bus #4 arrives approximately every 30 minutes. Note that especially when returning from Disneyland, you can also take bus #3 which drops you off on Harbor Blvd about half a block away. We also made use of the hotel’s parking. Yes, it’s expensive at $25 per night, and yes some of the spots are a bit narrow. But there are a lot of spots and we never had problems finding a place to park. Even if there aren’t spots right in front, the parking wraps the whole way around the hotel. Despite the hotel exceeding expectations, there are still a few things that could be improved. The fixtures in the bathroom could use a revamp, as things like the toilet would sometimes keep running non-stop until you fiddled with the handle. The beds and pillows while not uncomfortable, have seen better days and could probably use replacing in the near future. We also enjoyed the pool area but it would be great if the hotel added some umbrellas for shade. Finally, there were a few mornings where the showers would not get hot enough - I suspect that their boilers are overwhelmed during times when too many people are showering at the same time. Overall, a good stay and we will definitely consider staying here again in the future.

Needs a NEW MANAGEMENT Front Desk was difficult to deal with. I have to call Hilton Honors twice to get help to communicate my issues with the front desk. Front desk is not accommodating. This particular Embassy Suite located near Disneyland California about a mile. Majority of guest are goin to Disneyland/ Family reunion or a grand vacation. And, yet the front desk is not very helpful. No one is smiling when they are assisting you. Front desk does not even have a decor to show an inviting place to be. Their wall on the front desk is naked, just a wall. A SAD WALL. At one point the front desk hangs up the phone. It’s the morning shift that has sour faces. Considering the size of the hotel, they only have maybe 4 carriages. Breakfast not appetizing. I guess just fit for a FREE breakfast. I stayed at other Embassy Suite - Anaheim Orange and their breakfast was not this awful like this hotel. This hotel has a great location, comfortable bed n pillows, clean and although outdated but has no smell. I have 3 rooms reservation and one of the room 4912 has HAIR on the bed. We called the front desk was linens were changed. Date of stay for this room was July 29-31. The other rooms were #428 and #429 - stayed 6 days. July 27 - Aug 2. Parking space is very narrow. $25per night and parking is NOT SECURED. This hotel needs better management and marketing. Front desk needs vacation so they can loosen up and smile a little bit. You can tell they are not happy with management.

Very unorganized and dirty Hotel front desk is reluctant to help and line is out the door. Premises are really dirty. Sort and wet towels and garbage everywhere on the hallways. Ever time we want to go to our room we are waiting for elevator for ever and most kids use the elevator for fun.

Will Not Stay In This Hotel Again Pros: • Free breakfast every day – It was convenient not having to search for or pay for breakfast each morning. • Afternoon happy hour – We really enjoyed this touch. • Great location – Very close to several restaurants and a Target. • Friendly staff – Although we didn’t have many interactions with the staff, everyone we did encounter was nice and helpful. Cons: Unfortunately, there were quite a few downsides, and I wouldn’t choose to stay at this hotel again unless I was only focused on saving money with the free breakfast. • Dirty carpets – This was the first thing we noticed, and it really affected the impression of the room. • Lack of cleanliness upon arrival – The room was not thoroughly cleaned. We found hair in the bathroom, which was very off-putting. • Dirty windows – I had booked a room with a fireworks view, but the window was so dirty it ruined the view during the day. • Loud A/C – The air conditioning unit was extremely noisy and made it hard to sleep. • Uncomfortable bed – Probably the worst bed I’ve ever slept on in a hotel. • Outdated room – Room was outdated. • No bathroom fan – After taking a shower, steam filled the entire room even with the door closed. This created a damp, muddy smell. • No fresh air – The windows couldn’t be opened, and the lack of any outdoor air circulation made the room feel claustrophobic. Personally, I will never stay in a hotel again where I can’t open the window. • Small parking spaces – The parking spots are ridiculously small. If you drive a larger vehicle, you may end up taking up two spaces and risk getting a ticket. Final Thoughts: Everyone has their own standards when it comes to choosing a hotel, and I’m just sharing what we observed in hopes that it helps others make an informed decision. Personally, I would not stay at this hotel again.
