Another great stay at the Envue ! This was our 3rd stay at the Envue and the reason we keep going back are for the views and Tariq ! Tariq at the front desk has been amazing every time we visit . He is so accommodating and makes sure we always have an enjoyable stay . My brother works for Marriot so we are fortunate to book a discounted rate when we stay . I have also worked for luxury hotels for 10 years and it is known in the hotel industry that some hotels don't always treat discounted rate guests the same as high rate guests . I believe this is a horrible way of thinking because everyone is still paying customers at the end of the day. Tariq however does not discriminate ! He treats us like gold every time . The views are also stunning and we will definitely be visiting the Envue again .

Private event experience review only This review applies to the private event venue at the hotel only. Please read this if you ever plan to hold a private event at this hotel and I hope it helps any future potential clients:
Any time I have a great experience, I am the first one to applaud and submit positive feedback. I do my absolute best not to complain and I am certainly not a consistent negative reviewer. However, this experience might go down as the worst hospitality experience of my life combined with the most magnificent view and terrific food. From start to finish, it was a roller coaster. What a shame on so many levels because your venue has the absolute perfect set up and despite the higher prices from your neighboring competitors, it has the capability of being so much more given the right staffing.
The staff is undertrained,
It goes without saying that the venue is beautiful. They’ve done a terrific job maintaining the hotel in terms of cleanliness and layout despite what I imagine have been some challenging times. However, being yelled at in front of my guests because someone underage was caught consuming alcohol really clouded my entire experience. The maître d’ publicly humiliated me in front of my guests — a high paying client and a Titanium client that has been loyal to the Marriott brand for decades.
I would suggest some additional training for the Envue event staff and perhaps a mandatory security fee for parties with underage guests. Hiring security would help to eliminate underage drinking and also relieve the host of those duties to a degree.

Engagement Party at the EnVue We hosted our engagement party at the EnVue and couldn't have been happier with the venue. Chris Garrison was our main point of contact in executing our special day at the hotel; both he and his staff were super helpful and kind. The venue itself was very beautiful, clean, and has fantastic views of midtown Manhattan
