Hotel at a Glance: Excalibur Hotel & Casino

It may look like a castle, but Excalibur Hotel & Casino isn't quite a step back in medieval times—it's got a sprawling casino flickering with countless slot machines and table games. Numerous entertainment venues host a variety of shows, games, and music for all ages. Get down to the disco-fevered Australian Bee Gees, cheer on a medieval Tournament of Kings (may be temporarily unavailable), or watch the men of Thunder From Down Under shake it. The hotel's eclectic dining options include Dick’s Last Resort, Buca di Beppo, and TAP Sports Bar at Excalibur, as well as a food court.

  • See jousting matches and dancing maidens at Tournament of Kings, a three-course dinner show (may be temporarily unavailable).
  • Dining options: There are numerous onsite restaurants and a massive food court.
  • Hearty eats can be found at Dick's Last Resort, such as ribs and wings and burgers. They're all served up by friendly, wisecracking wait staff.
  • Fun for the whole family: Little ones can play arcade games while savoring Dairy Queen Blizzards.

The Las Vegas Strip: 24/7 Entertainment and Fine Dining

With an almost unlimited variety of casinos, bars and nightclubs, and live entertainment, the general consensus along the Las Vegas Strip seems to be “go big or go home.” And you can go really big here. Make a beeline for the dozens of 24-hour casinos lining the neon-lit Strip to tango with Lady Luck in high-stakes games of roulette, blackjack, and poker; or grab a front-row seat to the city’s over-the-top glitz at nightly magic, acrobatic, and musical performances.

Even Sin City isn’t all casinos, all the time. Go shopping at the high-end boutiques found inside most hotels on the Las Vegas Strip, or head to Fashion Show Las Vegas to browse racks at Neiman Marcus, Macy’s, and Saks Fifth Avenue. You can also virtually travel the globe in just a few city blocks, thanks to the Strip’s re-creation of the Statue of Liberty, the Eiffel Tower, and Venetian canals. And you’ll find a surprising number of activities in Las Vegas for kids hidden amid the raucous nightlife.

Good stay at the Excalibur We have just returned from a five night break in Las Vegas staying at the Excalibur Hotel. I had mixed reviews about staying here with many of the reviews being slightly negative, but if I can give me own thoughts. The hotel is a stones through from the airport which is great and we arrived at midnight. The check in was manic, and I counted over 100 people waiting to check in, the check in machines didn't work so we all had to que in line. Also be aware you have to pay additional tax on your stay, ours was £200 each. The staff dealt with this well, but it is very lengthy so please be aware. I was given my own room on the 12th floor, with a nice clean and comfortable room, with TV, shower, fridge, safe etc, and air con (very noisy units) there are no kettles. They do provide shower gel, towel's and the rooms and bed are made daily. The hotel has great links to Luxor and Mandalay Bay which can be accessed via a mono rail, we used their pool as ours was closed. The strip is directly outside and closed to all the other shops, casinos, bars and eateries. The food and drinks in the hotel are expensive with a bottle of beer being $11 plus tax, I got a sandwich from the fridge and a bottle of water and this was over $22. I enjoyed my stay at the Excalibur but my only critic, is that it stinks of smoke as people can smoke inside, this extends to the corridors to the room so if you're a non smoker be aware. Also the bar staff on the centre bar where rude and ignored us when we asked for drinks. In general a good experience and I would recommend the stay.

Excalibur stay First I like to say sorry taken so long for my review . I booked the excalibur due to the price . Location wasn't an issue for us on this trip . Yes the hotel is dated . We arrived quite late due to me as we was last one of the fight and last one going through boarder control even the BA cabin crew beat us . I have limited movement in my legs so takes me a while but I didn't care I was in vegas. . After being on a flight for 11 hours first thing i wanted was a cigarette ( yes I know ). We grabbed a taxi to the hotel think it was 23 dallors. Checked in no hassle i asked if we could have a room close to the lift not an issue . Room was very clean . Bed was clean . I did struggle with the shower only due to the issues I have with my legs . Overall room was nice . We had little rest then went down to casino _ and had little bet won few times . After we done it was nearly 1 am . Grabbed some food from Johnny rockets which was on are way to our room . Milkshakes I loved food not so much . Time to hit the hay. First full day . No issues won some lost some . We also checked out the pool at excalibur we have never done the pools before even though this was the 5th trip . The pool . So went to the pool around 11 am it was really hot that day we found a spot night next to the front and next to the steps which is good for me pool area wasn't busy a few children but that didn't matter area was also clean fresh pool towels which you can collect when you go in . I decided that I would get into the water as the water looked lovely . I get in my god what a shock it was cold not just cold it was freezing . It was so cold I ended up getting cramp in my toes not good . Overall was a lovely stay we would we stay again yes most definitely . We all ready planning next trip for 2027 . Excalibur please heat your pool .

Comfortable place to sleep Stayed here for 6 nights and found the hotel clean & rooms spacious with comfortable beds. Located at the bottom of the strip, with tram access to Luxor & Mandalay Bay, also internal walkways between the hotels. Great for access to Allegiant Stadium. Reason for not full 5 star, check in was through self service machines, staff were not very helpful. Also when tapping card for resort fees/ security deposit you aren’t told how much this will be. It isn’t even confirmed on an email. Yes, I would stay here again
