Great Thanksgiving Trip! We had a great week again at Fairmont Mayakoba. We stayed at a villa on the beach this year and views and service were amazing. Our butlers Fernanda & Javier were the best part of the trip. They took care of EVERYTHING and made the experience first class!

Excellent service Our second time back did not disappoint! We had fantastic service throughout but wanted to give a special shout out to Erick at the beach, Iker on the boat tour, Leo at Hix, Carlos at Fuego, and Cesar at Gaia. These guys worked hard to make sure we had a great time!

Most Perfect Wedding Weekend We had our wedding at the Fairmont Mayakoba, and it was absolutely perfect. Jaime, the event coordinator, and his team were incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. The service at the Fairmont was outstanding! Our guests loved the resort and truly enjoyed all of the amenities. I would get married — and vacation — at the Fairmont Mayakoba over and over again. We had the most wonderful experience. Thank you, Fairmont Mayakoba, for making our wedding weekend the best and most perfect weekend of our lives!

Good pick Beautiful space, excellent service, and memorable dishes. The Kobe beef was good, and the strawberry dessert was the standout—light, fresh, and delicious. Our server, Leo, was warm, attentive, and made the evening feel effortless. Elegant, relaxed, and a must-try at the resort.

beautiful location but too many lapses in service/quality I traveled here with my family for what I hoped would be a relaxing vacation. The property is beautiful and the pools are superb. I really enjoyed the thatched huts on the beach and the opportunity to tour the butterfly sanctuary, cave, and stingless bees as well. Other standouts include the watersports center with Jorge and Darwin, who were so kind, attentive, and great in helping us with water adventures such as kayaking or snorkeling. We also had a great cocktail-making class at Cielo; those bartenders were top-notch (I think our guide was David). The drinks we had at the pool bar (pina colada) were not great. Drinks were really hit or miss. It may have been easier to stomach if we had done the all-inclusive, but we paid by the drink, so we expected reasonable quality, but it really varied by restaurant on the property. We had some hiccups along the way. I met with the manager mid-trip to describe my concerns. Unfortunately, that did not fix the issues, and upon checkout, there was also no note of my previous time spent with the manager. Unfortunately, it didn’t turn out to be the fully relaxing vacation we had hoped for.
