Amazing peaceful experience. Amazing experience! It was our first time here on our babymoon and we would do it all over again! Hopefully soon! Mr. Marko Loeza & Ali Bolaños were true gentleman, friends and so attentive to our needs. We will definitely request them when we return. Clean beautiful resort that feels like we are in the middle of nature. So peaceful. Even the guests were so sweet and quiet.

A Great Holiday at Fairmont Mayakoba! The Fairmont Mayakoba is an absolute gem, perfectly situated on the beachfront if a breathtakingly unique property of 3 hotels that beautifully combines luxury and nature in its surroundings with much to do for both nature lovers and those wanting to relax! From its mangroves and forest to its beaches, which are cleaned several times daily, the resort's setting is a sanctuary of loveliness, with every day feeling like it's a retreat into paradise. It’s Spa is also a true highlight, giving you the extra paradise you may be looking for! Dining options at the Fairmont Mayakoba were excellent with the highlights being the freshest and highest quality ingredients used, as well as a great range of options on every menu! Seafood, particularly, was beyond words in its fresh form like the ceviche, expertly sourced and prepared daily by the chef in Gaia! Lunch at the beach restaurant or the pool restaurant offered well-balanced meals, perfect for a sunny daytime lunch that was quick and less formal. Kids options were available at all the restaurants. Dinner was the same, with great ranges of food on offer. You would have thought you were in a Michelin star winning restaurant. Every meal, laid-back lunch as much as fine dinner, was a culinary delight, testifying to the resort's commitment to quality as much as innovation and they were something to look forward to. The only exception was 'Hix' in the evenings where small insects and mosquitos, together with the hot humidity, made eating or having a drink less enjoyable. A pity, since food there was otherwise very good at lunch. It was the case that it was somewhere you couldn't sit and enjoy of an evening either before or after dinner because of this. The rooms were comfortable, spotlessly clean. Every detail, from the layout to the luxurious linen, made it feel like a home away from home. The housekeeping was excellent, maintaining the rooms immaculately and stocked daily with an attention to detail that is rarely found anymore and is slipping away in other hotels. The public areas were the same, with lobbies, pools, and well-maintained walkways that had the overall ambiance of luxury with cleanliness throughout the property. The actual highlight was the service, though, which was incomparable. The concierge team was a wealth of knowledge, creating tailored experiences and alterations to our plans with charm and ease. From organizing outings, suggesting activities, responding to special requests, their promptness and professionalism made everything so easy. The laundry service was equally excellent, back quickly and clean, and the lost property department handled a lost couple of items so meticulously and quickly that it didn't feel like a hassle at all. Nothing was ever too much trouble for anyone, and the staff's genuine hospitality, cheerfulness, and enthusiasm elevated our holiday to an un-forgettable level not found within European destinations! While the resort might not on initial appearances seem particularly family-friendly, we found that it was child-friendly. Working with only a couple of ideas at the beginning, we worked with staff and the concierge to fill our week with fascinating things to do, from the mangrove eco tour to archery, to keep kids busy and delighted while we were there. Bear in mind some activities have age restrictions so you should see if this property is in fact suitable for you and your family before booking. Fairmont Mayakoba is a treasure—a perfect blend of upscale rooms, outstanding cuisine, and top-notch service that is hard to find in this day and age all within an unspoiled and naturally maintained environment. Despite the minor disappointment of Hix, our stay was nothing short of outstanding and one to remember, and we're already making plans for our next visit and have remained friends with others that we still see today!
