Amazing three night stay at Fairmont Mayakoba Jacco and his team do an outstanding job running this beautiful world class resort. The newly renovated rooms are stunning and very comfortable, and they have a wide variety of amenities, dining options, and activities to cater all needs. The highlight of our trip was definitely the service we received from the staff who were all warm and friendly. I would like to make special mention of two members of the Balam Guest Service team, Vanessa Ocampo and Agustin Ortiz, who went above and beyond to ensure that all our needs were met, always promptly with a genuine smile. Thank you Fairmont Mayakoba for making our three night getaway a very relaxing and memorable trip.

A second Honeymoon _ We left our family behind and set off on a 2 week holiday with just my wife. We were celebrating our 40 year birthday anniversaries and our 10y wedding anniversary. This was therefore a big deal!
The hotel was incredible, the location was perfect, we felt as alone as needed whilst enjoying the beach and magnificent pool areas. Our room, a deluxe casita just off the golf course had fabulous sunrises which we enjoyed many mornings with the inroom breakfast before leaving on excursions. The food was wonderful and very diverse with the many restaurants not only within the fairmont mayakoba but also in the neighbouring hotels within the same resort complex.
Were there things that could be changed or bettered? Yes, like in most hotels on vacation. But as soon as we communicated with the front office staff and Concierge service, our queries were taken seriously and replies were given within a very convenient time frame. A big thank you most notably to Fabián Olmos and Alexa from the royal service. Fabián was available throughout our stay and searched to get the best experience possible for us. We even had personal butlers for our room but Fabian was so great for us that we only looked at discussing with him!
Alexa was present at the end of our stay and made sure that we would not forget Fairmont Mayakoba!
A big thank you to all the staff, from the housekeeping staff to the golf cart drivers, Miguel on the ecoboat tour, the restaurant staff (not so much for the weight I put on enjoying all the food!) All the way to the Concierge and royal service.

5 Stars – A Perfect and Unforgettable Stay at Fairmont Mayakoba From the moment we arrived at Fairmont Mayakoba, we were treated with an impeccable level of service that exceeded every expectation. Every detail was carefully considered, from the welcome to the personalized attention throughout our stay. The beach and pools are absolutely stunning — pristine, beautifully maintained, and the perfect setting to relax or play.
We were fortunate to have Agustín and Vanessa as our butlers, and they were truly exceptional. Their attention to detail, warmth, and care made us feel incredibly special and well looked after. Traveling with my 11-year-old son, I was especially touched by how much fun he had — it was an unforgettable experience for both of us. From beach days to pool time, he was always smiling and engaged.
The resort itself is a piece of paradise — lush, elegant, and full of hidden gems. We highly recommend booking the unique experiences offered within Mayakoba. One of the absolute highlights for us was the private yacht experience — luxurious, relaxing, and absolutely worth it.
Mayakoba as a destination is, in our opinion, the best Mexico has to offer. It’s something truly unique: luxury, nature, and exceptional service all in one.

Best resort stay ever. Amazing resort. Beautiful, modern, excellent dining, amazing service. This is the best resort I have ever stayed at. The food was excellent with many options. Best poolside menu I've ever had (fish tacos amazing). The other restaurants were great.
The resort itself is beautiful in an amazing setting - secluded, quiet, scenic. The pool is huge with tons of loungers available and they are the best loungers I've ever used. No fighting to get a chair or shortage of chairs. And a swim-up bar.
You can do a short boat ride through the canals to see the entire property. Captain Miguel was fun and informative.
In addition to the top notch facilities & room, the staff from top to bottom is so kind and helpful and attentive. Best hotel staff I've encountered.
We had a problem with our flight and the hotel staff was so accommodating. We were fortunate to be helped by their Sales & Reservations team who were very helpful. Vanessa and Agustin were our butlers who went above and beyond. They even left a special, unexpected surprise for us to celebrate a special occasion. They are awesome! Genuine hospitality from them and you truly feel like you're part of their family. I would come back just for them.
Irvin the bartender at the pool went above and beyond and helped every day. The doorman helped with a last minute taxi when our car didn't show up. Dayanna at the Spa was great. Dimitri the restaurant manager came by 2 nights in a row just to say hello and see how we were doing. For no reason other than to be hospitable.
Every staff member you encountered always smiled and said hello. This is a great staff and wonderful culture of service. This hotel should be very, very proud of themselves.

Amazing stay and thanks to Vanessa and Augustin Our stay was amazing! The room was great and large and the service was excellent. Food was also very good. Very special thanks to Vanessa and Augustin for their excellent service and making our stay one we will never forget. Unfortunately, the golf course was unavailable due to a LPGA tournament so we could not play. That means we just have to come back :-). Until next time!
