The best address at Playa del Carmen! I can’t describe in words how wonderful our experience at Fairmont Mayakoba. From the time we entered and the green areas, the welcome towel and drink. I knew it was going to be unforgettable vacation. Every encounter with the staff was positive. Every request was met and the staff goes above and beyond to make you a special guest. I would like to mention Noe from concierge that he delivered and took care of everything during our stay from reservations, transportation and the wonderful gift sent to our room. Our server at Gaia restaurant Ambrosio that made our dinner experience a five diamond level. Our cheerful server Jorge by the beach his service was impecable, for keeping hydrated and brought food by the beach. Miguel our boat tour guide and shared his knowledge about the property and Mayakoba. The only sad part was the time you have to depart to your destination and leaving paradise. We hope to return soon.

Our new favorite place We recently stayed at Fairmont Mayakoba and had such a wonderful experience overall! The highlight for our family was definitely the Kids Club. A huge thank you to Yadi, Esme, Keyla, Jessica, Lesly, and Rebe, and to their amazing manager Geo—you all were so kind, caring, and creative. My kids felt truly special and looked forward to spending time with you every day. Beyond the kids club, the entire Fairmont staff deserves praise. Everywhere we went, people greeted us with warm smiles and genuine hospitality, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The food throughout the resort was also very good—impressive for an all-inclusive package. The only thing I wished for was some fresh vegetables on the breakfast buffet. I do have one suggestion: the website advertises the hotel as 100% smoke-free, but we did notice guests smoking in certain areas, and no one addressed it. For a property that prides itself on being family-friendly and ecological, I think a stricter policy enforcement would make the experience even better. Other than that, we were very happy with our stay and would gladly return. Fairmont Mayakoba is a beautiful resort with wonderful people, and our kids are already asking when we can come back!

Fairmont Family Mayakoba Family Trip/pre-teen child made friends at the pool, beach and on golf carts every day-this was the best! We never even explored the teens club. Jojhan at reception was a welcome beacon of peace and assistance after a bumpy arrival. Food at pool bar and beach was terrific. Our personal concierge service was helpful in every way-from recommending Kantun Chi grotto visit (don’t need the guided cenotes-except for the 45minute subterranean visit which was incredible), snorkeling and whale shark onsite, arranging the complimentary boat trip of the Mayakoba property, to giving honest suggestions about restaurants, and being friendly and kind. Miguel Lares represents the Fairmont/ALL brand beautifully alongside his partner Rodrigo. Fabulous place to go as a family!
