Top Quality Service and Staff Absolutely wonderful experience! All the staff is incredibly attentive and service cannot be beat. Roberto at the front was excellent at curating schedules and providing recommendations and the full moon ceremony with Lala was the most rejuvenating session I could have hoped for. Memorable Girls Trip at Mayakoba My friend and I went to Fairmont Mayakoba for a short girls trip in September. It was our first time at this property and we were absolutely blow away. The service was beyond 5-Stars from the moment we checked in to when we departed.  The rooms were immaculate and they had turn down service each night which made a long day being in the sun inviting to rest for the evening. The beds and pillows were very comfortable.  The food is top notch and the seafood is so fresh. Caesar at Gaia made amazing recommendations for dinner. The grilled octopus is a must try that could be a shared appetizer. The Lingcod was so delicious and the seafood tower was an absolute indulgence. We also went to Tauro and the steak was phenomenal.  Germain provided excellent 5-Star service.  The highlight of the trip for me was the Spa. Gabriela and Anahy are both very talented massage therapists and you will leave felling completely relaxed and recovered. Everything in the spa was well thought out. There are is a hot tub and steam room in each lounge and a co-ed pool and hot tub on the second floor. The decor is organic modern; really fitting the vibe and natural surroundings of the resort. There are spa delights to enjoy in the lounge.  The beach was fun with activities like SUP, kayaks, and a Hobie Cat. They did an expectational job in keeping up with the seaweed.  Overall, the staff was very attentive to your needs and the atmosphere was incredible. I would definitely come back and I highly recommend!

Why Fairmont Mayakoba Is My Sanctuary, Time and Again I’ve just returned from another unforgettable stay at Fairmont Mayakoba and once again, it exceeded every expectation. This resort remains, without question, my favorite resort in the world. With each visit, my appreciation deepens for its flawless blend of luxury, natural beauty, and hospitality that truly nourishes the soul. The setting is serene, the accommodations exquisite, and the dining consistently world-class. But what sets Mayakoba apart is its people as they are the heart and soul of the resort. They don’t just offer exceptional service; they create a feeling of belonging that keeps guests like me coming back, time and again. I want to recognize the individuals who made our ninth visit so memorable. Their dedication and warmth are the reason this place feels like home: Luis, whose joyful energy made every golf cart ride feel like a celebration Iker, the lagoon boat captain who brought depth and delight to our exploration Arnaldo at Cielo, whose gracious service made each cocktail feel like an occasion Rodrigo, our intuitive butler and concierge, always a step ahead Fernanda Salgado, whose vibrant presence and professionalism elevated our entire stay—she is a standout in every way Irving, a bellman with the heart of a five-star concierge Daniela at La Laguna, who greeted us each evening with grace and warmth Alfonso, the masterful bartender at Tauro—don’t miss his espresso martinis Oscar at Hix, whose friendly, attentive service set the tone each day After nine visits, I can say without hesitation that this is more than a resort. It’s a place of restoration, joy, and sincere connection. My home away from home. I’m already counting the days until visit number ten.
