The Las Vegas Strip: 24/7 Entertainment and Fine Dining

With an almost unlimited variety of casinos, bars and nightclubs, and live entertainment, the general consensus along the Las Vegas Strip seems to be “go big or go home.” And you can go really big here. Make a beeline for the dozens of 24-hour casinos lining the neon-lit Strip to tango with Lady Luck in high-stakes games of roulette, blackjack, and poker; or grab a front-row seat to the city’s over-the-top glitz at nightly magic, acrobatic, and musical performances. Be sure to stick around for mealtimes—casinos on the Strip are known for their fine-dining restaurants.

Even Sin City isn’t all casinos, all the time. Go shopping at the high-end boutiques found inside most hotels on the Las Vegas Strip. Head to LINQ Promenade for a shopping and dining experience, then ride atop the High Roller observation wheel. Thanks to the strip’s re-creation of the Eiffel Tower at Paris Las Vegas and the Roman Empire at Caesars Palace, you can virtually travel the globe in just a few city blocks. And you’ll find a surprising number of activities in Las Vegas for kids hidden amid the raucous nightlife.

Honestly, it's one of the cleanest hotels i have stayed in! Skip the kiosks, though & go straight to the counter to check in. The kiosk told me my room wasn't ready, but 45 min (& no email) later, we went to the counter & our room was ready.

RUDE HOTEL Personal Flamingo Where do I even begin? My stay at the Flamingo was an absolute nightmare. After a long, exhausting day of travel, we arrived late, only to be told our room “wasn’t available” that night. The clerk offered a “renovated” room with two queen beds instead of the GO Deluxe King I had paid for. Sure, it was renovated, but I booked a king bed for a reason! The next morning, I went to switch rooms as promised, but the chaos only got worse. Construction right across from the front desk made it feel like I was shouting over a jackhammer. The clerk was already annoyed, and when I explained the situation, she got defensive immediately, insisting that “bed sizes are NOT guaranteed.” I politely reminded her that I paid for a king bed, and she basically shrugged and said, “You’re in a renovated room.” When I asked to speak to a manager, things got even more ridiculous. The manager came over, clearly ready for a confrontation, and repeated the same nonsense with an added side of hostility. When I politely asked why she was being so nasty, she actually said, “I’m speaking to you the same way you’re speaking to me. If you want me to be kind, be kind.” I was floored. At the end of the day, I was told I could maybe switch rooms tomorrow, and that I should be happy with the “upgrade.” Let me be clear: being upgraded to a room I didn’t book and treated rudely is NOT something to be “happy” about. And the new room had an issue with its outlets. I couldn't blow dry my hair in the bathroom, without tripping it. And I told her and she said she could call an enginer...but never did This was hands-down the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced at a hotel. Between the broken promises, the rude staff, and the lack of any real resolution, I cannot recommend staying here.

Horrible experience Did not get checked in until 11pm on the day of check-in after requesting an early check-in. I tried to do express check-in At 9 pm and was told there was no room available. Went to the front desk and still had issues checking in.

Flamingo Stay was Just "OK We stayed at The Flamingo as we were attending the Zac Brown concert at the Sphere, and it was centrally located. The hotel was clean, but I should have requested a room closer to an elevator. I seriously needed a tram car to get to our room. The only thing that really bothered me was the amount of pot smoke coming from another room that made our room smell horrible. When I complained they asked me if I notified security? Well, our phone was broken in our room number 1 and number 2 I had no way of knowing which room it came from. But it made for an unpleasant stay. We were traveling with friends and both booked King rooms in the Habitat Tower. Upon check in they had no king rooms for our friends in our tower, so they ended up in the Flamingo tower in the middle of the construction zone which started at 5 AM. Would we stay again? I am not sure they need to do better. All they did was comp me 1 night of resort fees. I don't feel that was enough for the stench of pot we had to endure.
