The Las Vegas Strip: 24/7 Entertainment and Fine Dining

With an almost unlimited variety of casinos, bars and nightclubs, and live entertainment, the general consensus along the Las Vegas Strip seems to be “go big or go home.” And you can go really big here. Make a beeline for the dozens of 24-hour casinos lining the neon-lit Strip to tango with Lady Luck in high-stakes games of roulette, blackjack, and poker; or grab a front-row seat to the city’s over-the-top glitz at nightly magic, acrobatic, and musical performances. Be sure to stick around for mealtimes—casinos on the Strip are known for their fine-dining restaurants.

Even Sin City isn’t all casinos, all the time. Go shopping at the high-end boutiques found inside most hotels on the Las Vegas Strip. Head to LINQ Promenade for a shopping and dining experience, then ride atop the High Roller observation wheel. Thanks to the strip’s re-creation of the Eiffel Tower at Paris Las Vegas and the Roman Empire at Caesars Palace, you can virtually travel the globe in just a few city blocks. And you’ll find a surprising number of activities in Las Vegas for kids hidden amid the raucous nightlife.

Honestly, it's one of the cleanest hotels i have stayed in! Skip the kiosks, though & go straight to the counter to check in. The kiosk told me my room wasn't ready, but 45 min (& no email) later, we went to the counter & our room was ready.

Honestly…disappointing. I stayed at the Flamingo in Room 17062 and had high expectations given the “newly renovated” advertising, the resort fee, and the additional $20/day parking charge. Unfortunately, the experience didn’t match the price point or the promise. • The pillows were extremely flat and low-quality — the kind of cheap feather pillows you’d expect at a budget motel, not a Vegas resort. • Several major TV channels didn’t work at all (USA, Cartoon Network, etc.). • The mini-fridge still had food and drinks from the previous guest, which was honestly pretty gross. • The shower took close to 10 minutes to warm up, and the door didn’t seal properly, causing water to leak onto the bathroom floor. • Both bedside lights were completely non-functional. • The mini charging station sparked whenever anything was plugged into it, which felt unsafe. On top of that, checkout and parking were a headache. We were told to leave the room keys inside the room and then press the “help” button at the garage to exit without being charged. Instead, we had to call twice and wait over five minutes each time just to get out of the parking structure. For a property that advertises modern renovations and charges multiple extra fees, this stay fell far short of expectations. I hope management takes these issues seriously, because the location is great — but the room quality and guest experience need major improvement.

Nickel and dimed I see why Vegas is fading. Was nickel and dimed from the moment I arrived to the moment I left during my stay. So short sighted to get my small money now and turn me off versus me wanting to come back and spend more money over time.

Clean my room This is for the Duty Manager or Hotel Manager,we checked in on Tuesday 25th November for 7 nights, our Flamingo room was really clean, however,we never expected that there is more chance of meeting his holiness the Pope than getting our room cleaned. I have had to phone housekeeping daily,I have been to Hotel Reception, even having to beg the housekeeping staff doing other rooms for help. Apparently you have to request housekeeping every day,on one call I was told we had opted out,we never got the chance to opt in,none of this was made clear or even mentioned when we checked in on Tuesday 25th,all that was mentioned was resort fees of over 50 dollars a day. So my message to the manager is please contact us,we are here until Tuesday 2nd December, you have our details, room number and phone number, email address, because we do fully expect some redress of our resort fees for all the stress and anxiety caused by your hotel policy of having to request housekeeping every day. We have read many reviews about your hotel and apparently you never give customers resort fees back. Well it’s about time you started. And to every person who reads this review,if you want your room cleaned,go to any hotel except this one.If you are thinking of booking Flamingo, don’t.
