The Las Vegas Strip: 24/7 Entertainment and Fine Dining

With an almost unlimited variety of casinos, bars and nightclubs, and live entertainment, the general consensus along the Las Vegas Strip seems to be “go big or go home.” And you can go really big here. Make a beeline for the dozens of 24-hour casinos lining the neon-lit Strip to tango with Lady Luck in high-stakes games of roulette, blackjack, and poker; or grab a front-row seat to the city’s over-the-top glitz at nightly magic, acrobatic, and musical performances. Be sure to stick around for mealtimes—casinos on the Strip are known for their fine-dining restaurants.

Even Sin City isn’t all casinos, all the time. Go shopping at the high-end boutiques found inside most hotels on the Las Vegas Strip. Head to LINQ Promenade for a shopping and dining experience, then ride atop the High Roller observation wheel. Thanks to the strip’s re-creation of the Eiffel Tower at Paris Las Vegas and the Roman Empire at Caesars Palace, you can virtually travel the globe in just a few city blocks. And you’ll find a surprising number of activities in Las Vegas for kids hidden amid the raucous nightlife.

Honestly, it's one of the cleanest hotels i have stayed in! Skip the kiosks, though & go straight to the counter to check in. The kiosk told me my room wasn't ready, but 45 min (& no email) later, we went to the counter & our room was ready.

The Flamingo’s day is done I ABSOLUTELY HATE this hotel! Stayed here the last 3x in Vegas - excellent location on the strip, room rates are good (minus the insane “resort charge”) and the pool were the biggest draw to returning… no more. Within the first 24 hours of our stay we had to change rooms 3x. First room had a broken AC unit, bathroom door, and mini fridge. On top of the fact that I put 4 people on my reservation and only got enough towels and bedding for 3. They moved us to a smaller room for one night where again we had issues with the room, but was manageable to get us to the following day. I was told by the on duty manager (Dawn) she would have a new room comparable to our first one set aside, all I needed to do was get new keys in the morning. Went down the following day (after repacking everything) to get said keys and the clerk had no notes on our reservation about the problem we had the night before. I gave him enough details on the problems, who I spoke to, etc that he believed me and he made it right, including a $50 food credit (not much but whatever). Tried using the credit at the pool and the server closed out tab without giving me the option, so on the credit card that went. Our 18 year old tried to use it at one of the quick serve places but wouldn’t let him if I wasn’t there. So on the last night here I’m stuck with this useless credit. After a day out and about, we wanted to see about why the credit couldn’t be used and after 20 minutes of waiting and the clerk and manager (Dawn again) trying to figure out what we were asking, they applied it to the resort fee. Every time we’ve stayed here, something is broken, CS is unwilling to help with issues, or the stay is just unenjoyable. I swear this dump is held together with duct tape, black mold, and the broken dreams of the fools like us that stay here. I gave them 2 stars only because Dawn did try to do some service recovery and the pool is still a top draw - even if the updated Go Pool isn’t as fun as the old pool was. The parking garage (was a necessity this time as we went to other locations around LV) is a nightmare - the key card access to leave doesn’t work (even acknowledged by the manager), says level 3-7 are for flamingo but really it’s only level 5-7, the elevators in the garage are broken and in 108 degree heat are like filthy moving ovens. I think one of the worst parts of this hotel is that you can’t even talk to a CSR without standing in line with all the other suckers that were dumb enough to book here. So that adds another 20-45 minutes to sit and stew about what is bringing you to complain to begin with! I’ve said the last 2x I’m never staying here again, this time I am 100% never staying here again. I realize I don’t drop $5k into the casino there, so my absence is probably a favor to them, but maybe my review will motivate people that do spend money here to go to other hotels - Caesar’s property or not. They’ve been trying to update the rooms and pool over the years, but maybe it’s time to just impose the place and start over.

Love the Flamingo...just needs some attention! After many stays at the Flamingo Las Vegas, this time around it made me sad. Main areas of change - cleanliness, pricing and Go Pool experience. Cleanliness- areas of the resort seem to just forgotten and were disgusting. One area in particular to showcase - the patio area off of the Nook Cafe and Purple Zebra! We would enjoy our morning coffee here in past, this time not so much. The tables were never cleaned all week, trash on the patio and in areas in view from the patio. Homeless people hanging out, picking up cigarette butts to smoke and roaches crawling all over. I will also mention, staying for 6 days it was a rare occasion to have our room made up daily with fresh towels. Most days I had to call Guest Services to have fresh towels sent up, which took hours. Pricing- mainly referring to drink and food prices at The Go Pool. With the new renovation, the prices have gone through the roof. $76 for 6 beers is beyond ridiculous, or $40 for a 20oz Frozen Drink. Go Pool Experience- The new pool renovation took this pool a step backwards in my opinion. The old layout allowed for more area along the edges of the pool to sit, hang out etc. Now you basically HAVE to rent a day bed in in the water or outside to have any space at all. The few day beds that have frontage along the pool - other guests lay towels and belongings which prohibit you from using the edge of the pool by your day bed. The overall experience is that you basically have to stand in the middle of the pool period - just an income based pool now. I booked 5 rooms total for 6 nights, and several were first time Flamingo Guests...to say the least they were not impressed. Hopefully The Flamingo Management Team will strive to make some improvements and keep the cleanliness and guest experience at the top of the "most important" list!

Overall sadisfied My husband and I recently stayed here for a long weekend. For such an old place, it's very updated and nice! The bed was so comfy in our basic king room. My only complaint is the drinks at the pool were INCREDIBLY expensive, and they won't allow you to bring anything in. Not even a few small snacks. That was disappointing. It was very difficult to find chair and after talking with a few others we met there, people who aren't even staying at the flamingo are permitted into the 21+ pool. (Not sure about the other pools, as this was the only one we visited). We stayed here as we were in town to see a show at the sphere. We were able to walk to and from with no issues. The flamingo is in a great location, in the heart of the main strip making everything easy to get to! Would definitely stay here again. Just disappointed that one modelo and one high noon cost 35.00 at the pool!
