The Las Vegas Strip: 24/7 Entertainment and Fine Dining

With an almost unlimited variety of casinos, bars and nightclubs, and live entertainment, the general consensus along the Las Vegas Strip seems to be “go big or go home.” And you can go really big here. Make a beeline for the dozens of 24-hour casinos lining the neon-lit Strip to tango with Lady Luck in high-stakes games of roulette, blackjack, and poker; or grab a front-row seat to the city’s over-the-top glitz at nightly magic, acrobatic, and musical performances. Be sure to stick around for mealtimes—casinos on the Strip are known for their fine-dining restaurants.

Even Sin City isn’t all casinos, all the time. Go shopping at the high-end boutiques found inside most hotels on the Las Vegas Strip. Head to LINQ Promenade for a shopping and dining experience, then ride atop the High Roller observation wheel. Thanks to the strip’s re-creation of the Eiffel Tower at Paris Las Vegas and the Roman Empire at Caesars Palace, you can virtually travel the globe in just a few city blocks. And you’ll find a surprising number of activities in Las Vegas for kids hidden amid the raucous nightlife.

Honestly, it's one of the cleanest hotels i have stayed in! Skip the kiosks, though & go straight to the counter to check in. The kiosk told me my room wasn't ready, but 45 min (& no email) later, we went to the counter & our room was ready.

Beware – Noisy new pool bar and tricky with hotel rooms Unexpected bad experience at this hotel. Guests should be aware of a number of things. Recently reopened Go Pool features a music system that gets so loudly and noisy in the romos. We were granted a seventh floor room and it was uncomfortably boomy during day time, making it hard to take some rest. Check-in wasn’t the expected. We had booked a Flamingo Premium Room, and we asked it to be on the Spa Tower zone, knowing that they Brand the same two different kind of rooms. They gave us a room at the Habitat Tower, saying that it’s the same: WHICH IS NOT. Premium rooms at the Spa Tower have two tables under each TV and a big table with 4 seats, Habitat Tower rooms just have one table under TVs and a really small table, with a smaller coach. It is not the same, although they brand them the same, and they didn’t meet our demand at the check-in. Stating they’re the same is a false claim. We asked for a late check-out for the last day, and that last day we discovered that they wrote down our asked time wrong. They even communicated that to the cleaning staff. Had to manage it with the staff at the Inhouse Services, and encountered that the staff was particularly unfriendly. Really not up to American standards. Overall, the experience has been like this hotel doesn’t reward loyalty, as we have been here a number of times before. Instead, they punish it. Kinda hard to understand. On the flip side, at least I can say that the wáter pressure in the shower is top notch, and the hotel is sited probably best place in the strip.

Bad experience The bed was comfortable. But the house keeping needs to do better. We stayed for 6 days and only got house keeping the second day. We had to keep asking for towels. They tried to say because we had the sign on the door but that wasn't the case because we left the room around noon everyday and took the sign off and they were still in the hallway just didn't clean the room. Also we had an issue the night before we left with the door battery dying and we could not get in our room. So imagine walking the strip all day in the heat and can't get back in your room to relax. It took over 50 minutes for someone to fix the issue Manager basically said what do you want me to do it's already fixed now. After I stood in line over 20 minutes downstairs. Just horrible customer service.

Loving The Flamingo Hotel and Casino Clean rooms, easy remote check-in/checkout (no waiting in lines to get keys). Machines are pretty loose (came home with more cash than we took). Clean casino and machines. Lots of action in the evenings (roulette, craps, table games). Great location on the strip (if you like walking/running). Our go to hotel and casino when we stay (2-3x a year). Reasonably priced rooms. Plenty of eating options from fast food to lavish sit down restaurants.
