The Las Vegas Strip: 24/7 Entertainment and Fine Dining

With an almost unlimited variety of casinos, bars and nightclubs, and live entertainment, the general consensus along the Las Vegas Strip seems to be “go big or go home.” And you can go really big here. Make a beeline for the dozens of 24-hour casinos lining the neon-lit Strip to tango with Lady Luck in high-stakes games of roulette, blackjack, and poker; or grab a front-row seat to the city’s over-the-top glitz at nightly magic, acrobatic, and musical performances. Be sure to stick around for mealtimes—casinos on the Strip are known for their fine-dining restaurants.

Even Sin City isn’t all casinos, all the time. Go shopping at the high-end boutiques found inside most hotels on the Las Vegas Strip. Head to LINQ Promenade for a shopping and dining experience, then ride atop the High Roller observation wheel. Thanks to the strip’s re-creation of the Eiffel Tower at Paris Las Vegas and the Roman Empire at Caesars Palace, you can virtually travel the globe in just a few city blocks. And you’ll find a surprising number of activities in Las Vegas for kids hidden amid the raucous nightlife.

Honestly, it's one of the cleanest hotels i have stayed in! Skip the kiosks, though & go straight to the counter to check in. The kiosk told me my room wasn't ready, but 45 min (& no email) later, we went to the counter & our room was ready.

Fabulous Flamingo For All They don’t call it the Fabulous Flamingo for nothing! What a great place, it is centre strip, with so many food/ drink options from inside the hotel at Carlos and Charlie’s (one of our favs) or walk out the door and head to the Linq Promenade where you can find things for a little cheaper. It was easy to walk from place to place and it’s great because they have the monorail which is super easy to use. Our hotel room was amazing we had a King Flamingo Room with a strip view. We requested cleaning everyday and that is exactly what we got, the staff we encountered were great. We loved this room so spacious and you get a fridge so you can keep all your things cold. The casino was good not as big as some of the others and it did have a min $5 bet on most games but was still fun. The GO Pool was so fun, we love a lively pool and that it was. The only downside to this pool is there isn’t many free beds so you need to be down super early if you don’t want to have to pay. The payment seemed a little much we wouldn’t have minded it it was redeemable on food and drinks but on top of the rent we had spend a min amount also, it is quite expensive for drinks. But we had a blast just leave early if you want a bed. Will 10000% be back, the Flamingo is for everyone.

Just OK Overall the hotel was a little better than expected being such an old hotel. I knew it wouldn’t be great, but a couple things to note. 1. They asked if I wanted to pay $20 for a remodeled room. I asked if that was one $20 fee or $20/night. They said it was one time but then charged me for every night _ 2. The shower has a half wall only. No matter what angle you turn the shower head you will have a floor on the bathroom floor _ 3. No daily housekeeping so if that’s important to you don’t stay here. 4. The hotel is cheap but they will get you other ways. You probably won’t find a spot at the hotel unless you rent one for $400. And mixed drinks at the pool are $50 after tax and tip.

Had a blast at the Flamingo! Our second stay at the Flamingo. I must say check-in went easy and that was without Diamond status..lol.. next trip we are Diamond, so it should be even better.. Our room was clean and all worked fine surprisingly since it was not a renovated room... The steak house and Cuban restaurant provided great food and entertainment. All staff that we engaged in conversation with were friendly and helpful. Overall, a great stay!
