Great pool and customer service! We absolutely loved this gem of a hotel. Luis checked us in and went above and beyond to make sure we had a great stay. He was a fountain of knowledge and gave us some great restaurant tips on our way out! The rooms are spacious and spotless and the Internet was fast. We stayed in a king suite and a double room. The king suite had two giant TVs and a microwave and fridge. The hotel rooms were very modern and design and the beds for extremely comfortable. The pool was immaculately clean and kids absolutely loved the two slides. One note though for families, there really are no breakfast options. As a envoy diamond member, we did have that action of grab and go breakfast, but it was actually lunch! It was either a ham and cheese croissant with chips and a Coke or a ham and cheese sandwich with chips and a Coke. Also strangely, they only would give us two meals per room even though we were a party of six. Despite that little hiccup, this is a great hotel. My only complaint is the same one that many other people have mentioned. I don’t see why we need to pay $12/night for parking when the hotel is located in the middle of nowhere in the parking lot is absolutely ginormous!

Enjoy balmy weather and ample sunshine at this Puerto Rico hotel with onsite casino and pool

Caguas, Puerto Rico: Lush Land South of San Juan

Puerto Rico offers a postcard-worthy Caribbean getaway—and if you’re American, you don’t even need a passport to get there. The city of Caguas, located near the island’s eastern shore, is proud of its Creole heritage. According to local lore, it’s the first place in America where the Spanish, Taino, and African bloodlines mixed. Learn more about local history and culture at the Botanical Garden and Cultural William Miranda Marin, where you’ll see contemporary Taino sculptures and a bronze monument of Osain, a Yoruba deity associated with the healing power of plants. The monument is surrounded by trees and herbs brought over from Africa. The nearby Tobacco Museum offers a different historical insight; built into a 19th-century blacksmith workshop, it features a tobacco-ranch reproduction where you can see how the commodity was cured, dried, and rolled. Enjoy a cigar from the gift shop while strolling the river boardwalk and enjoying the balmy air.

Caguas is roughly 25 miles south of San Juan, the capital city, which opens a window into Puerto Rico’s Spanish colonial past with historical mansions, cathedrals, and aimlessly wandering conquistadors. The city’s historical section, called Old San Juan, was settled by the Spanish in 1521. Here, you’ll see blue-cobblestone streets, centuries-old churches, and a 42-foot wall that once protected the city from invaders. To delve into the island’s artistic culture, head to the Museo de Arte de Puerto Rico, which displays works dating back to the 17th century.

About an hour’s drive east of San Juan lies El Yunque, the only tropical rainforest in the US National Forest system. It contains hundreds of exotic plant and animal species within its 28,000 acres. After hiking through this often-misty forest, take a short drive to the east coast and board a public ferry to Puerto Rico’s two less-populated islands, Vieques and Culebra. Both are known for first-rate fishing, snorkeling, and diving.

Family Escape Four Points by Sheraton Caguas Real is just what we needed going thru this Post Pandemic times. Our family felt very safe with safety protocols and all the staff encountered are super friendly and service oriented. I definitely recommend this Hotel and I am sure once there F&B is fully operational it will be very much desired place to be. Thank you Four Points Team ❤__

Very Nice Remodeling and Fun Stayed from 12/27-1/1. The recently remodeled suite was fantastic. The beds and sofa bed were super comfortable. The Hotel staff was fantastic. Mr. Ramos was very helpful and highly service oriented. The casino hosted live bands two nights. It was a lot of fun. Highly recommend this Hotel and will defined come back.

Everything is blamed on 'renovations' Ah. where to start. Lets be positive first. The room was clean. And I think this WILL BE a nice place to stay. But at the moment, it is NOT. It's under renovations, and they should have mentioned that on their website when it was booked. The check in process was a nightmare, because the check-in has been moved to a little tiny ante-room off the restaurant, next to the Casino entrance and the front desk staff seemed like someone checking in was a novel concept. Speaking of the restaurant, the food was 'meh' and overpriced, even for a marriott restaurant. . The staff at the restaurant are lovely but I only mean that in the physical sense. They are quick to get drinks, but food seems like, once again, this is a crazy novel concept. They were hired for their looks, not their efficiency. I'm referring to dinner of course, breakfast is a whole other issue and worthy of its own discussion. Lets talk about room service. Oh wait, lets not, because (contrary to the website) room service was not available "due to renovations". Anyone hear want to explain how renovations that don't prevent a customer from getting to their room, somehow magically prevent room service? Because I'm pretty interested in how that works. (The reality that they don't want to admit is: Because we are spending money on renovations, we don't want to have the staff for room service). There's nothing unique to their breakfast except for the fact that it is, overall, terrible. During a 4 day stay I had it once. French toast had roughly the texture of roofing tiles (the rubber ones, not the ceramic ones). The sausages were reminiscent of the sausages that one would get at a terrible pub in the UK. This is NOT a compliment. To say that they were overcooked is an understatement equivalent to suggesting that the Atlantic ocean may contain sodium. Speaking of excess salt, there were potatoes. I'm not verbose enough to describe the issues with the eggs. There is a pool. It was open and worked and was clean. There is a hot tub. It was open and clean. But the heat was off. So it was a tub, not a "hot" tub. The front desk said this was "due to renovations". As an electrical expert with hot tub knowledge, if the water is full and the jets are working, the only reason that it isn't hot, is that you've turned the heater off. Probably to save power, because heating a tub is expensive. It's NOT "due to renovations" and I was insulted by the lie.
