Reno, Nevada: Casino City with Arts and Outdoor Adventure

Reno lives up to its billing as “The Biggest Little City in the World" thanks to its flashy casinos, cultural centers, and restaurants worthy of a much larger metropolis, all packed together on Virginia Street. If you need a break from courting Lady Luck at the big gaming palaces such as Circus Circus and Harrah's (which was born here), head to the Truckee River Arts District to explore the Nevada Museum of Art and the National Automobile Museum. Because of its location at the foot of the Sierra Nevada and just east of Tahoe National Forest, the city also puts visitors within reach of rushing rivers and high mountain ranges for hiking, rafting, and gold-rush reenacting.

Props to an Amazing Team Member~ The service we received from Team Member Marcia Moreno was exceptional. We were a big group arriving for a conference and the front desk was overwhelmed and I was very understanding. However, after waiting almost 3 hours to have a room assigned after we had already processed the "online" check in link the night before, my patience was waning. Marcia came over to say hello and ask if there was anything she could do. She took it upon herself to find out what the delay was and provided a quick solution. I was so thankful to her for going above and beyond for your guests. Give this lovely young lady a raise!

'Pool party' at 2am at a family friendly property? We have stayed here for 15 plus years and tonight was the worst experience we've ever had. There is a 'pool party' going on that is so loud that I can hear the lyrics of the words of the songs through the walls, on the 24th floor with the TV on. It is supposed to end at 2am. This hotel caters to so many youth sports and family's. I can not believe they allowed this. I know there are 100's of families who feel the same and will reconsider staying here

Jay in Reservations is fantastic! We had the great pleasure of partnering with Jay in Reservations to book a challenging and demanding itinerary. She was very knowledgeable, extremely proficient and as pleasant as could be. Jay utilized wonderful listening skills and creative problem solving to identify and address each of our specific needs. In short, she was a perfect representative and true asset with and for Grand Sierra Resort.
