Family Vacation 2025 We have enjoyed the resort so far! The bartender at the tiki bar, Jill, was awesome! We had a huge party and she kept up with us all! The food at Due South was very good but came out one plate at a time over the course of 2 hours. They did acknowledge their poor service and made our bills reflect. They were short staffed but hustled.

Myrtle Beach, South Carolina: Sandy Beaches, Golf Courses, and Classic Amusement-Park Rides

Myrtle Beach is the crown jewel of South Carolina's Grand Strand, a 60-mile stretch of white-sand beaches along the Atlantic seaboard that draws surfers, fishers, and kayakers. The city was named one of the best vacation spots in the United States for a family by USA Today, in part because of its wooden boardwalk, which stretches for more than a mile and buzzes with carnival games and amusement-park rides. Hop into the SkyWheel Ferris wheel’s gondolas, surrounded by more than a million LED lights, for a panoramic view of the city below.

Less than 20 miles south of Myrtle Beach, the tiny fishing village of Murrells Inlet provides a tranquil contrast to the boardwalk's hustle and bustle. At Brookgreen Gardens, more than 2,000 sculptures stand amid sprawling floral gardens and massive, moss-covered oak trees that have been around for centuries. Murrells Inlet is also home to the Tom Fazio–designed TPC Myrtle Beach golf course, 1 of nearly 100 courses in the area that helped Myrtle Beach earn its title as the seaside golf capital of the world.

Disappointed with what we paid versus what we got. For the amount we paid, we expected so much more in the way of cleanliness and maintenance. Would have moved locations had something else been available. Pros: Great location and good variety of pool/water options. We loved the messages written in the sand some days - special touch. Very convenient to beach. Cons: Unit needs a GOOD deep cleaning - mold in shower, trash was in unit when we arrived, living room chairs were noticeably dirty (gross to sit on), rug in LR filthy, kitchen pan needs replacing (rusty), missing a few basic items needed to cook in room, electrical outlet at fridge tripped a couple times without us being aware and we lost some food, washing machine leaked into walkway. Pool, hot tubs, and water areas need a GOOD cleaning. Most resorts clean areas like this on a regular (actually on a daily basis) - no excuse for opening these areas daily with green slimy stairs that lead to the water slide or getting in a hot tub and find it disgustingly filthy when the jets stop - not sure how often these areas are cleaned. Found bathroom at pool area closed a few times. Overall the quality was not what we expected for what we paid to vacation here for the week.

Not bad at all! Not bad at all. Has everything you need. Crowded and elevator situation was a little rough (long waits, constantly breaking down). Tiki bar by pool was awesome, Jill was on top of it, great bartender. They had another who would take forever, on phone constantly. Overall I would come back with the family.

Very Disappointed! Came to find that the room I selected was first floor, near the road and by the area where all the dirty linens are parked. Terrible exterior. Someone pound at our door at night. The stuff is very unpleasant, only Jill, the bartender at the tiki bar, I would not dare going in the pool. Everything else does NOT look like the pictures! The tiki bar closed at 6 and the restaurant closes at 5. The WI-FI is not secured! I wanted to leave the minute I arrived. I booked 4 nights! Chair and umbrella at the beach is 55 bucks for the day. Nothing at waking distance, but not too far of a ride. If you're like me and like to park and stay, this is not the place.

Not bad Bed and pillows are super comfy! Room is very clean but hotel rooms are outdated! Bathroom is extremely small. Pool stays open until 11pm which is great but doesn’t open until 9am which is a bummer. Restaurant and Starbucks on the grounds are very convenient!
