Worst service possible! This was the worst experience of a stay I've ever had. We had an experience with the front desk person named Taylor who couldn't be more rude if she tried. She was rude at every opportunity she had. We had two shoes in the tote bag they have in the rooms. I asked if they charged if we took them and she said yes but didn't know how much. I said no problem I'm leaving out our stuff at the lobby for a little bit and then when we get the car we could transfer everything in there. Taylor responded by saying "well you already have your shoes in the bag" indicating that wasn't allowed which is funny. I took the shoes out and left them with our bags and car seat. When we came back she brought half our stuff and had our shoes with the soles in the car seat on top of our jackets. When I said wow I didn't want to put them on my expensive jacket, instead of saying I'm sorry which would have been the end of it, she said "well I had to touch your shoes"!! Then continued to argue her point. This is in addition to our rooms water pressure in shower and sink being so slow that it took 3-4 minutes for my short hair to get wet. We were actually thinking of becoming members here but that will not happen nor will any of our family who also stay at least once a year there. If you enjoy being reprimanded by front desk people you should definitely stay here and ask for Taylor to help you.

Wouldn’t go back if YOU paid for it Things were okay until check out and I somehow ended up with $300 in extra charges. I wouldn’t recommend. Not worth it for plenty reasons but this is the biggest. Honestly am so upset that I chose this place to be where I decided to stay to get married.

One and done, there are better experiences to be had Gravity Haus has been trying to sell us memberships for the past two years, but the numbers never made sense when I did the math in spite of the fact that we live in Colorado. We had a chance to stay at GH Vail without a membership over a long weekend and figured we'd give it a shot. The location is just on the edge of Vail Village and directly across the street from the Vail Village parking garage. The hike to Gondola One isn't bad, even in ski boots. In the evenings, you are less than a block from the covered bridge bus stop, so getting around is incredibly convenient. We enjoyed and appreciated the size of our single king room. It was much larger than similar properties we've stayed at across Vail over the years. Everything was clean and serviceable, but we would not consider this a very high-end property from the guest room perspective. The furnishings were "tired," room was very plain/bland, and the pillows were very uncomfortable. The bathroom was large and had both a tub and a shower. It was no problem for my wife and I to be in at the same time. The heated floor was a very nice touch on a very cold weekend. Our experience with the staff was hit or miss. One lady was incredibly helpful and seemed to jump at any request, always eager to help. Other staff would barely lift a finger. It was jarring, but we quickly learned who to go to and who couldn't be bothered. BTW - we never did see any of the famous "hot chocolate and cookies" at reception our entire time, not that it really mattered. The bar, restaurant, co-working space, and spa areas of the property are magnificent. It shows that attention is being paid to maintaining these areas, they must be the real money-makers for GH. The food quality is very good, we were impressed with every dish and drink. What knocked me over was my final bill and the "Resort Fee." I knew there was a daily fee, but was not prepared for how much of the bill it was. Basically, you are paying for spa day passes for each day of your stay. It was by far the MOST expensive "Resort Fee" I've ever spent (15%+ of your room rate), and I did not feel it was worth it in any way, shape, or form based on our other experiences across Vail Valley. I asked if even GH members had to pay the resort fee and was told that they are now applied to all guests, whether members or not. What does that get you? Access, to the gym/co-working spaces. I've stayed in 5-star resorts around the world with lower resort fees. It isn't justified for the overall quality of the stay. Any property will hike rates during peak seasons, but now there's a sliding percentage of additional fees. No, thank you. We've stayed at properties that were just as convenient in Vail, if not more so, with better quality rooms and parking included, and could pay an extra 1 - 2 hundred over GHV's peak rates and have been better satisfied with the amount paid. This was a one-and-done for us, and as far as the value of a membership, no way. You'd have to be an out-of-work tech bro to break even on that deal. Now, with the RTO mandate at most companies, I'm curious to see how long their tech bro co-work space model will last.

Top Notch Hotel in Vail Our single king room at Gravity Haus was one of the nicest accommodations we have ever stayed at in Vail. The spacious room, bathroom with heated floors and hallway with beverage bar were perfect as well as the ambience provided by the gas burning fireplace. Bedside lighting for reading was excellent. Vail Village is steps away. Each fall we go to Vail to view the beautiful changing aspen and from now on will stay at Gravity Haus.
