Bed bugs confirmed by manager in my room month after last infestation I have no pets, and beforehand nome of us had any bites. Stayed one night there and woke up with bites on arm and leg went to service desk after the cleaning lady manager told me they couldnt offer any help.. at first they upgraded my room and heat treated my stuff... got my luggage back that night and was reassured that I didnt have anything to worry about that whatever it was was dead.. Woke up this morning and my toddler had bites on him. Went to the desk and was offered 50% of one night stay, i thru a fit and she gave me $100 off. We drove over an hour home and started to unpack when I got a call that they decided to check my upgraded room and found bed bugs infestation in that room. They refunded my entire stay but now I have to worry about having my entire home and family infested.. do not stay here!! This is a month after thry went viral for having bugs! She said they only treated the rooms they found activity in when they had the hotel infested and that room was not one of them?!?!? This room was on the 4th floor.. why would they have an infestation and not trreat the entire building? Do you not treat your entire house if it gets infested?!?

Wonderful Thanksgiving We had a fabulous Thanksgiving! The park was very busy on the actual day of Thanksgiving, but we still had an amazing experience & great service! The park has 6 big waterslides, 2 smaller in the Mackenzie fort & some baby ones in the kiddie area. The coaster slide is gone. The lifeguards were the friendliest people of any GWL we’ve been to. They all asked us if we were having fun, how our trip was, smiles & we’re always kind and helpful even when reinforcing the rules. The rooms were very roomy! We had a 4th floor room which was nice because the ceilings are vaulted. We loved having a fridge and microwave in our room. The food at the pool snack bar & the pizza was great! We had the buffet breakfast which was tasty as well although we didn’t like the eggs or coffee. The arcade is pricey - isn’t every arcade?!? But our kids had a blast! The bowling is just mini bowling, not an actual bowling alley. And the mini golf is tiny and only 9 holes. $25 for our cannot 4 felt like a waste for that. This GWL has an amazing waterpark & wonderful rooms. The area around it is nice as well - close to fast food like Taco Bell & Wendy’s. The Lodge itself doesn’t have as much to offer like other GWL’s. Our kids loved the Magic Quest game. It kept them busy for hours!

Worst Family Friendly Place My kids had a great time but unfortunately our overall experience was awful! Room: The room that we received was very roomy. However, the room was not cleaned very well. There was trash and old popcorn on the floor when we walked in. Housekeepers: the housekeeper we came in contact with was very rude and said she cleaned our room but there was dirty towels left in the bathroom floor, the bed linen was wadded up in the center of bed and not touched. Usually one of the common things when they clean your room during your stay is to at least make the beds. Service: the service was probably the worst I have experienced! For a family friendly place the staff was not friendly at all! The staff was not helpful and we waited a lot of help with things! Overall, the communication at this place was awful to say it nicely! For someone who has never been to a great Wolfe lodge our family sure does not want to come back! The manager talked to us and said he would address with appropriate departments and review footage! My concern is that people that want to be rude and not be friendly towards kids should look for other employment! The price was so dang expensive and when you get here you end up spending a lot more because even though we purchased one of the most expensive packages a lot of “things” were extra including the different color wands! And the manager Kevin’s response to us was “ do you all want to just leave and not stay your last night, obviously your frustrated” Not the response you like to hear! Pretty much made us feel like because their staff was being so rude and we complained that we needed to just leave instead of fixing the issue!
