Great time! I was nervous after seeing all the negative reviews, but we had an amazing time! We arrived in the evening and check-in was fast and easy. We had an awesome time at the water park! The lifeguards were attentive and all staff was friendly and helpful. The only negative during our whole trip was the slow response time from housekeeping when we needed towels, soap, etc. We would love to go back again!

Overpriced, understaffed, and poorly maintained—Disney prices for motel-level service. Disappointing stay. Customer service was inconsistent, staff appeared poorly trained, and severe understaffing led to slow service, especially in the water park and restaurants. Cleanliness and maintenance were not up to par for such a new property—our room already felt worn with broken bulbs and marked walls. Housekeeping was not transparent; rooms aren’t serviced unless requested, and even then, our request went ignored. Prices are Disney-level, but the service and quality fall far below. Better service and cleanliness can be found at budget hotels.

Will NOT Return To Great Wolf Lodge I have been going to Great Wolf Lodge (Mass) every year since my kids were little. We had never had any issues. The price of the rooms are always going to be high but you can always find deals through either GWL or Groupon. Also, it is pretty much known if you have gone that the food at the lodge is over priced and not very good, so we always made sure to bring our own food for Breakfast/Lunch and then leave the lodge for dinner. We went to the new one in CT right before school started August 2025, there were 3 adults and 4 children, we had 2 regular rooms (it ended up being cheaper based on the discounts I was able to get). We arrived around 11am (knowning that we may not get into our room until 3-4pm) to use the waterpark while we wait. The waterpark are was extremely overcrowded. The lines for slides were ridiculous, there were so many kids pushing, cutting in lines, there was a severe understaffing issue. The floors are so slippery that you need handrails throughout to be able to walk without falling. (Recommend water shoes!) Although it was understaffed the lifeguards did a really good job and they were all so friendly and kind especially with the kiddos. The waterpark has a great amount of slides and pools, I just wish there was more room in there for people, as it is too cramped in that one big room. There were 2 women working the front desk with a line of at least 50 people (probably more), and the lobby was completely full to the point it was nearly impossible to get through to go anywhere. Having to pay to park in the lot nextdoor when there is a free parking garage right across the street seems ridiculous. The kiosk for check in didn't work properly, we had two rooms and our wrist bands were all for 1 room (it even dispensed 3 extra wrist bands than needed). Half of our reservation seemed to be lost at this point. We finally were able to get things squared away (so we thought) with the rooms by 4 or 5pm the day of check in. (We had been there since 11am.) The refirgerator in one of our rooms stopped working and we lost easly $100 worth of food. They ended up giving a 25% discount on BOTH rooms, and fixed the refrigerator. The last day we had to check out by 11am but were told we would be able to stay til the park closed even upon checkout. However, the day after getting home, we were charged a $65 per room charge for towels, when we returned them and the attendent said we were all set...We also received $400 charge PER ROOM randomly, even though the invoice upon check out stated NONE of this information (our balance at the end on the invoices was $85 per room with the discount and would have been about $150 per room. When calling customer service it was IMPOSSIBLE to speak to someone, then someone who could actually assist, then had to argue more with the person who could assist, then was given a "token" for the refund for TOWELS only. Was told verbally that we would be receiving a refund for the extra $400 per room charges, but we will see what happens.

Great activities but lunch needs a redo! Very thin walls. The Hungry Wolf food court is a nightmare. It needs more employees and less chaos or new management. Terrible experience. They also need more food options for lunch. Other than that, the Waterpark and other activities were enjoyed by all.

Will not be coming back to this location! Got there at 3:45. Waited over an hour for the room to be ready. You can either park for $25 a day or park on the other side of the complex and walk for free. The 4th floor smelled awful. The master bedroom door did not close. Scuff marks on the door from people pushing it closed Waited 30 minutes to be seated in the “Fireside” restaurant full of empty tables. Then waited another 30 minutes for a soup a salad and a burger. Our waitress was very pleasant though. The Dunkin Donuts had NO hot food. 20 minutes to wait for a latte and then it tasted burnt. They did get better throughout our stay but had to get down there at 7:30 everyday to ensure my son had food. Hungry Wolf food orders took 30 minutes one day and 45 minutes the next. Received a chicken Alfredo with no chicken and a salad with no dressing. My son enjoyed his time in the water park and I think the staff was excellent. It seems as if Great Wolf is not giving them the resources they need to be successful. For the ridiculous amount of money I spent to stay there for a week I was very disappointed. I will not be returning.
