We loved being there, when I walked in I slightly got the feeling like we were at a Disney hotel. Daily they had multiple activities for both families and kids to participate in. I highly recommend going here, the rates are high so maybe wait for a Groupon if you can get one.

Everyone was great and accommodating. The overall facility was spotless considering the heavy traffic in the hallways, public restrooms, and lobby. Our whole family had fun, the staff are very friendly and helpful especially the front desk, retail shops, and both hosts at the main restaurant (8 pm, Sunday) The bartender was very nice on Monday morning we were at the Waterpark. We will stay again.

Terrible don’t waste your money. Checking process is tiresome and redundant. Didn’t have birthday setup when we got there and said the room was ready. Went back up nothing came down an hour later still nothing they could see in my face I was upset then got a supervisor another clueless person. Couldn’t give me an eta of how long before it’s set like am I the 5th person or 100 person for the birthday set up couldn’t give me an answer these humans are like dealing with a computer that’s glitching. I told them I come every year for my son’s birthday and he loves seeing the door and decorations of happy birthday if the room isn’t ready then just say that and I’ll wait. Gave me a buffet voucher for free. Buffet runny eggs you have to get your own drinks items broken and needing to be replaced. Place really disheveled a woman came over looked like a server and said how’s everything going my mother in law said “terrible not a good variety of things eggs watery drink area of coffee orange juice a mess it was a madhouse floor wet, server said sorry to hear that and walked away. Then I asked for the bill, she came back with the bill and there was an area for tip why tf would I tip I got my own plate and my own drinks ridiculous. Asked for 2 pillows at the desk 4 hours later nothing had to ask again then got it within 30 minutes. Ridiculous why not just have it downstairs in the back if someone asks for a pillow they get it right then and there’s no hassles. Went to tee bowl there are 6 lanes but 3 lanes broken no one working on them asked a guy he went back and started trying to fix it while waiting another guy came still nothing then another guy one came and gave me 4 tokens as an apology for having them broken. They couldn’t get them fixed I got tired of waiting with my 8 year old and left to do something else. Walls are paper thin both nights heard people next door on both sides didn’t have this problem I normally go to gwl in mass. Toilet paper pole broken, toilet seat loose and doesn’t stay up by itself. Shower slippery and higher than actual floor which makes it difficult to get in and out for the average person. No microwave in room we have a one year old that has a bottle at night I ask the desk about it and they said there should be one next to the ice maker station on your floor so at night if your child wants a bottle you have to walk all the way across the hallway down then it’s locked so you have to scan your wristband, warm it up and come back, ridiculous. Went to a place called fireside that only opens at 5pm talk about a waste of space if not making no money throughout the day. There’s 8 of us 3 children bill comes back $278 which seemed high considering 3 meals were chicken tenders and fries now the chicken tenders came out fast the kids are finished and we are still waiting for our food ridiculous we waited over an hour for our food and the place was maybe at 50% capacity. Saw another group get sat down after us but got served first. I look at the bill and there’s a $40 gratuity automatically added to the bill I thought that was a joke when they come with my card so I can sign there’s an extra space for me to leave my tip after they already charged me $40 for the tip unbelievable talk about trying to trick the customer and nickel and dime them. Place is small compared to gwl in mass which we normally go to. I ask 3 room cleaning people when is check out but they don’t know. And no kidding a couple cleaning people really stink like they didn’t bathe had the hallway smelling bad. Food is super expensive and everything is usually kiosk. Wrist bands didn’t work to pay switched them out at the desk still didn’t work at least I was able to tell them my room number so they can charge it this is suppose to be a convenience but was an inconvenience. When I first got to the room the refrigerator was unplugged had to plug it in. Parking $25 a day which I thought was a ripoff considering how much we already pay or you can park for free in the casino garage and walk over but the walk seems to far with little ones. Water park to get in has a line they check everyone’s bag and you have to scan your wristband. There was a fire alarm we all had to get out for half hour waiting cold with our little ones until they let us back in. Trying to get food at this place was a joke like these people take long making simple chicken tenders and fries two stations of ketchup both are out. They get my meals wrong you have to scan your cup for the drinks to work or it won’t come out, out a lot of things out of order machine leaking clueless guy taking a picture of the problem during the middle of the day. Zip line probably the best thing they have there my 8 year old loved it since they don’t have one in mass. Slides not as impressive as mass gwl. At around 4 the chaos begins families waiting around trying to check in visibly irritated. Everyone trying to use the check in kiosk with one person trying to manage everyone. Place seemed understaffed and under managed like people here really don’t know what to do and lack basic customer service skills. Loved the 7 elevators they had instead of gwl in mass with 3 but one is always down for service. In my room not one drawer it was weird like where the hell do i put my stuff instead of just leaving it all out, no safe, no microwave to be found in room, no ironing board. Some staff seemed patient and polite others were there like they couldn’t wait to clock out. The entire process was disorganized. The value here really doesn’t match the price. The bowling was 7.40 a person what a ripoff. No wow factor, lazy river in water park was nice way too few tubes 50 people trying to go in with like 10 tubes. Went to virtual reality to play a game no one at the desk after 10 minutes I go to the back to look for someone and one young woman helping a group of people in a room but there are multiple rooms like you really leave one person to handle these games is wild I left. Got my bill sent to me before I even checked out. Last day changed my late check out to regular check out lady looked irritated but didn’t say a word. When I try to leave the parking they are trying to charge me $50 for my two nights when they already charged me on my bill. I call for help get an associate tell them I already paid on my bill and they open the parking to let me out. One more thing in mass gwl there’s a beautiful area really big with flowers that says welcome to great wolf lodge we always take pictures there but didn’t see one at this CT location. If I was a manager here I would go to the other ones to see the smooth process that they have for people here it’s a complete mess. Please skip this one it’s not worth it and you’ll leave disappointed and tired from now on I’ll keep going to the one in Mass even though it’s a little farther it’s definitely worth the trip.

Great Resort, Kids had a blast Felt compelled to write a review after reading how many negative ones there were. Overall, this was a near perfect one day family getaway. The resort was clean, modern, kid friendly and perfect for a one night getaway from NY. Waterpark was much smaller than the Poconos (kalahari/great wolf) but still had more than enough for the kids to do. The main issue is that this place is either likely a ghost town (when kids have school) or a complete zoo (like when we went, on a kids break) - so it was very understaffed. No joke Pizza took over an hour for lunch (kids were not happy) and getting Dunkin in the morning wasnt even an option (guy said 30-45 min wait) — Overall with Foxwoods next door it added tons of dinner options (and a place for us dads to go after the kids went down) - a short 1-2 minute walk away. Kalahari is much more of a “Vegas” like Hotel for Kids but I would definitely come back here, just have to not go on a obvious “gonna be a zoo” day…. When we checked out, the hotel was near empty, water park the same… so yeah, choose when you go wisely.
