I’m used to outdoor water parks in CA, so this was different. It was LOUD in the water part, but my kids had a blast. We had an incident with other guests (drunk & trashy), but the hotel management handled it wonderfully. I was so upset the night of the incident, but hotel mgmt & security went out of their way to make the rest of our stay wonderful. This is how you do customer service!

Last time at this great wolf… sorry Rooms are up to date and I have been here 5 times since opening… in different rooms This is not the issue… The issue is coming back 6 months later and mirror maze being completely broken (here is what you will find a broken piano for birds)(broken pic axe shovels)(broken dynamite room) and also no employee attendance in times of hi traffic. There were literally kids finishing the maze and then going back through running to the point of tripping on myself And daughter while backtracking… a kid blowing bubbles in the entire closed space(not ok; this is on parents ) Your mirror maze is out of order period. Please take it off the badge and stop Offering it like it works. It’s been 2 years no since opening and it’s still offered like a perk It’s not working and at this point disgusting it’s not fixed… but for new travelers … they got you! Next: here’s where I lose it For check in a text came through saying room ready need to fix payment issues Bro I stood in line to check in at front desk…issue was presented and I provided all information at that time… it would be nice if I could just update on app or kiosk; if there was still Issue Instead I waited in line then was told i need to go to in house checking and then waited again… 30 minutes for something I took care of when I arrived and already waited 20 mins like a good boy when I got here. When I got to front desk and explained Text the clerk simply pointed to guest services and lazily told me to go to other line… after waiting already from a text with no explanation. There’s nothing more annoying then waiting for something you guys have inconvenienced me for and then add insult with quick and lazy unservice like response. This is not great wolf this time… fix your perks! And the magiquest machine for the 60 dollar plus rod not working either… Please read this as a consumer and understand there is broken things here and they have not fixed in a year plus in some Instances …. I think I need to spend money where maintenance and service are offered Full package(at work for the money we pay $$$) Not this great wolf. Bad experience this time from lack of up keep/ fixing and maintenance… too many choices out there to spend this kind of money for broken. Rooms are nice and that’s about at this point. They have done terrible with onsite reasons I used to book here Will be looking for adventure elsewhere as they just can’t keep up and can’t provide good Reasoning… cya

Fun for kids but loud and chaotic Our first visit to Perryville location but we have been to others. In general, they are very fun for the kids but very loud and chaotic. There is just a little too much going on. Glad the Quest in this one is all on one floor. But they need some serious sound buffering - fabrics or sound-absorbing materials in the lobby, shops and restaurants. They also rival Disney at providing opportunities to spend your money. It's a once every couple year thing for us.

Loud, crowded and expensive but very fun for kids We went to GWL to celebrate my daughter's 9th birthday. She had a blast at the water park, the ropes course, and everywhere else. If you're looking for a place kids will love that's a reasonable drive from the DC area, this definitely fits the bill. The pluses were that the staff was incredibly kind, helpful, and lovely, and the whole place was beautifully themed and very clean. The waterpark had something for everyone, from thrilling slides to play areas for toddlers. The Magic Quest game was also a blast. The major drawbacks for me was that it was so loud everywhere -- the water park, the main areas, the arcade. Investing in some sound dampening on the ceilings would really help prevent people from needing to yell to be heard. We were there on a summer weekend and it was also soooo crowded. My biggest pet peeve, however, is the magnificently stupid way they dispense soda. To get a soda, you have to scan a code on your cup and then a countdown timer starts and gives you like 15 seconds to get soda. Trying to help my 7-year-old through this process was both rage and panic inducing. People are paying $400+ a night for a room, please just accept a few cents of wasted soda here and there. The vibe is very much "discount Disney" (though the discount part is debatable), but we still had a great time. We'll probably go back because the kids loved it so much, but I wish they would focus less on trying to squeeze money at every possible turn.
