Very clean and friendly staff. So much for the kids to do and have fun. The evening dance party was great for exhausting the kids at the end of the night. Will definitely come back.

Great indoor water park adventure for our family of 15! Our family of 15 (9 kids age 4mo to 11 yrs) just went Thursday to Friday. We had a wonderful time in the water park both days. We arrived at noon on Thursday and our rooms were ready which were an added bonus, so the baby could take a nap. The water park was a great experience for the ages we had with us. Older teens may get bored. Even if a ride went down in the water park, maintenance was right there to fix it. Our rooms were basic and clean. There is a small frig for drinks and I suggest you bring your own. Snacks for the room are a good idea, too. The second day you can use the water park after your check out by 11 - there is a changing area available - just bring your dry clothes to change into before you leave. Staff was friendly. The kids did the story time by the fireplace at 8pm and it was very well done. Some of the kids also did the free morning craft. We couldn't make the dance party. The prices at restaurants and gift shop were what is expected at a resort. A big plus for the adults is there is a Dunkin coffee shop in the lobby. There are add ons we did not do like an adventure area, bowling, etc. We just clearly told the kids what we were doing and what to expect before we arrived. We ate off site for dinner at Denny's 2 miles away and even received a 10% discount for coming from the resort. Very reasonable prices and something to suit everyone. Watch for discounted rates and it is a good investment and treat for the family. I highly recommend the Key Lime Pie Milkshake for a special treat!

Expensive, crowded and cold water I spent a day at the water park with my son. The day pass was $100+tax per person which I thought was a bit excessive. Then when I got there they charged me $15 for parking. Not happy but ok fine. It seems like they nickel and dime you on everything. I could have parked in the Hollywood Casino parking lot which was empty. The place was super crowded full of family, kids running everywhere. We got in the park, the water was cold maybe in the high 60s. That really bummed me out because they advertised that they keep the temperature high. It didn’t make me want to stay in the water too long. My son always loves the wave pool but this one is made for 5 years old kids so the waves were very low. The rides were nice. Safety seemed a top priority. The lifeguards seemed very professional and always checking on the swimmers. The place was pretty clean for a large amount of people. Thankfully they had a Dunkin’ Donuts inside that charged a reasonable amount. Overall I felt the place was average, the price pretty high and probably more geared towards younger kids 12 or under. I am not sure we will return.

Poor customer service and water park safety issue - The family did enjoy the water park but there were many accommodations that could use improvements. - The room was nice but there was no bathroom vents. - No towels, washcloths, soaps or toiletries for a room that accommodates 6 people. When requesting toiletries I was told to buy them at the gift shop and rags/towels were left in a bag on the hallway floor without he courtesy of anyone knocking at the door to acknowledge delivery.. - Daily room service is by request only but there is no documentation in the rooms to make customers aware of various rules. I would think there would be no issue with early check ins and definitely should not be a fee if guest rooms aren’t cleaned daily. - Activities like bowling, mini golf & climbing should be a part of the activities package instead of separate charges for guests. - Guests should be able to add food packages upon arrival or during the reservation process. It’s helpful to get a gauge of what is offered to allow you to make an informed decision knowing food quality and the value of packages. - There were not sufficient trash cans in the room and many guests had trash, towels and even dirty diapers littering and smelling up the hallways of an otherwise nice hotel. - The hotel also mentioned fees and surcharges for special occasions. I didn’t see it upon making my reservation. - I feel that although online features and apps are great guests shouldn’t be required to download an app for their visit to get a map, attraction times, restaurant closing times, etc. in an amusement/water park I tend to leave my phone behind to avoid damage. Having a fully staffed front desk would be preferable where general information is communicated. The front desk lines were extremely slow with few people in them each time I tried to get service. Some information wasn’t received by using the check in kiosk which glitched on me & made me start the check in process twice. I also still had to wait in line to get a parking pass. - It was nice that a representative did text me and I was able to express general needs because the front desk phone was constantly busy no matter when they were called. The only issue with that is you can spend hours texting them only for housekeeping not to show up after a multiple hour wait. When a representative asks you what they can do to make things better and you provide a solution only to be offered complimentary wolf ears was insulting as the representative acted as if their hands were tied on any customer service remedies to make things right. - The hotel could use some additional elevators. There is only one set of elevators in the center of the hotel but guests could have a walk the equivalent of two city blocks to get to their room which is not friendly to elderly or anyone with physical limitations. There is only other options was to take the stairs. And there is still a very long walk to the main area. - In the water park while going up the steps there were blue foam mats that are meant to be used with the racing slide that were being thrown over the railing and landed on the steps. As I was walking up the step one of those heavy, wet mats landed on my head. Once I collected myself I continued up the steps and reported it to the closest lifeguard. Then reported it to one of the lifeguards in the orange jacket which was an escalation from the first lifeguard. It took me a minute to collect myself and I did get a headache from the way it landed on my head but my biggest concern was there are little children walking up those stairs too. I have a 6 year old myself and there were young children in the area. If that mat hurt me; imagine what could have happened if one landing on a child. If an adult was phased by it and child could have definitely been seriously hurt or fell down the steps. There really needs to be something done about that to ensure nobody will gets hurt. While reporting the issue to the orange shirt lifeguard there were mats on the railing that were sliding and almost fell over the railing to the steps below in our presence. Maybe a net or something would be a solution when guests decide not to ride a particular slide to avoid items being left or tossed onto the stairs below. Although many of the mishaps on my stay were frustrating the safety of others on the steps is the most important thing I would like to see improved upon. -Customer service could definitely be improved. - the kids did like the bunk beds & cabin theme in the room.
