Loud, pricy Very loud. Water park is extremely loud, sit outside if possible. Outside pool does have a lot of mildew areas which make it very slippery and watched multiple people just walking wipe out. Parents do not pay attention to any of their kids so at the pool they were using the fountains to spray across the pool and the life guards do no care. Food is expensive and basic but there is a Dunkin and ice cream shop. My 8 yr old was easily entertained but my 10 yr old daughter was easily bored. Magiquest they did enjoy. The inside water park smells so bad of chlorine that every time I walked or sat inside I instantly started sneezing and was congested. Staff was mainly teenagers, most friendly but lacked the customer service. Probably not a place we would come back to especially for the price.

Lots of good, lots of not so good This place is “meh” at best. For every fun event or service, there was an equally disappointing moment. Let’s start with checking in. When you first arrive, you have the option for self-check in - great. They you a wrist band that you wear for your entire stay. It is programmed as your room key and you can use it for purchases. Very convenient. What they never tell you is that if you pre-purchased any packages, you can’t self check-in because none of that is programmed into that wrist band. You need a second wrist band plus stickers, etc. so after standing in a very slow line to finally pick up the pre-purchased Magiquest wands and such, we were told we have to go back to the front desk and wait in that long line to finally get the second wrist band etc. So while programming the wrist bands was neat, having to get a second band and no communication about that just started things off poorly. And why the heck would they just save money and program everything into the same wrist band?!? You have to use it for everything anyway. This kind of “yes, but” dilemma is pervasive throughout the venue. The Magiquest is a fun upsell, but it is incredibly difficult for most children to understand what exactly they are supposed to do and very few staff around providing all of the promised assistance. Coupled with the fact that place is INCREDIBLY loud so we have to shout to talk anywhere, and at least 10-20% of the Magi machine weren’t functioning, again it becomes a great idea just ruined. Then there’s the dining. The website and the app have different hours and it was tricky understanding what was what. The food was definitely hit or miss with most of it tasting like the frozen bulk pack stuff you’d by at Costco or Sam’s Club. The breakfast buffet was okay but the dinner buffet was legit far worse than Golden Corral. The servers for the most part were are incredibly friendly but the cooks clearly wanted to be anywhere but here. All of the restaurants/bars advertise certain food or drinks but at least 25% of whatever the menu says is either unavailable or only available at a different place in the hotel. Why have it on that restaurant’s menu then?!? And like everywhere these days, it was all incredibly overpriced. The staff - for most part the staff was very friendly, but the place is woefully understaffed and it showed in several parts of the facility with the very long waits just to serve 2-3 people. The overall venue - the concept is great but if you have noise canceling headphones - BRING THEM!! I’m not kidding, the decibel level gets unbearably exhausting at times and in areas where they’re understaffed, it’s like Chuck E Cheese chaos on steroids. So, the place gets a three out of five. It’s very expensive and does not really deliver a matching experience. It feels like and old and outdated venue before ever really getting started.

Filthy, stinky place Filthy dirty room. Extremely overpriced. But as my daughter loves it, I will simply stay at a nearby hotel. Lover rental prices outrageous. Food quality abysmal. Water in water park smells.
