Ice is a real problem at great wolf Several complaints to start with...1) lines to check on are extremely long and can take up to an hour to check in 2) the walls in the room are paper thin and you can hear everything in the next room 3) unless you are near an elevator it can be long, long way to the lobby and water park from your room 4) the biggest problem was there was no ice. There are about 100 rooms per floor and 1 ice machine per floor that can't keep up so we had no ice for 2 days. Front desk says yes they know there is no ice that you can come to the lobby and get some...a resort this size can't put 2-3 ice machines on every floor? 4) in the kids room there isn't a TV... Overall, the kids had a good time at the water park but I do feel like it is a park for younger kids.

Great short stay. My family had a great, quick stay at this hotel. The room was clean and spacious, with firm mattresses, a strong shower, and hard floors—which we loved since there were no stinky carpets! There are plenty of fun options for kids. We spent most of our time at the water park, which was really cool, with lots of rides and areas for both younger and older children. Aside from the pools, my daughter especially enjoyed the interactive wand-based adventure—very well designed and engaging! The food at the restaurant was high quality, and the breakfast buffet was excellent. While neither is cheap, the quality definitely justified the price. Another highlight was the variety of activities organized by the staff in the lobby. Overall, a great experience all around!

Great Wolf Lodge worth a visit Great Wolf Lodge provided an enjoyable time with several grandkids age 7 - 14. We were impressed by the cleanliness and staff friendliness. The activities skew a bit to the younger ages but between the higher slides and rope course there was enough for all to enjoy. The evening movie captivated all of them. They also got a kick out of the character experiences. All the kids want to return which is the best recommendation.
