Orlando, Florida: World-Famous Theme Parks and Cultural Surprises

Located in the center of Florida, Orlando may be forever associated with the Walt Disney World® Theme Parks—the world’s most-visited entertainment resort. Spanning roughly 30,000 acres, it encompasses four theme parks, two water parks, five golf courses, and the Disney Springs® Area. There’s no shortage of things to do here: begin your day by boarding a rocket-shaped three-seater that climbs to 180 feet before entering a deep black tunnel and racing past stars, satellites, and constellations. Walk across the park to sample Moroccan cuisine for lunch, or ride a dune buggy through a haunted mansion. Before heading back to the hotel, take in the nightly fireworks, laser, and water show. One of the most popular family destinations in the world, sunny Orlando is also home to Universal Orlando—which includes The Wizarding World of Harry Potter—SeaWorld, and Gatorland.

Those hoping to shake up the typical theme-park-dominated itinerary can head into downtown Orlando's vibrant arts district. The neighborhood boasts venues such as CityArts Factory, a multifaceted patchwork of gallery spaces, and SAK Comedy Lab, which hosts family-friendly improv shows five nights a week.

Big resort with tons to do. It was clean and nice except the hallway carpet had a smell. But the lobby and the apartment was nice and clean. Loved the pools and the waterpark.

Spacious rooms, but clogged bathtub and brown liquid coming out of bathroom floor I called maintenance supposedly clear the clogged and no one came the next day to clean the floor or to bring towels to replace the dirty ones from the floor.

Great experience at the Grove I had an amazing stay at The Grove Resort! The highlight of the trip was definitely hitting the FlowRider — such a fun and unique experience. Huge shoutout to the instructors, Tyler and Jax. They were super patient, encouraging, and made learning to ride the waves a blast. Whether you're a total beginner or trying to level up your skills, they’ve got you covered. The resort itself was beautiful, clean, and packed with things to do. Can’t wait to come back!

The grove of disappointment _ I stayed here for 2 weeks with family and we checked out today what can I say, what a disappointment. don't get me wrong the location is great not far from restaurant and shops the building and area are beautiful also the apartments are big enough for a family of 5 - 8 people, there are plenty of places to swim, you also get amenities but if your out every day and there 5 of you there's not enough to last a few days but am afraid they are the only good things. there is a long list of negatives.... 1, Broken cupboards. 2, Rude staff. 3, Expensive food and drinks. 4, Poor cleaning. 5, Broken window . 6, There's only ceiling lights in the master bedroom in the other two you had to use lamps. 7, There is no way the turn the ceiling fan on or off unless you stand on the bed but there is in the master bedroom and living room. 8 There was yellow water coming though the floor, cockroach in shower in one of the room's. 9, When booking with virgin you get maid service for free but they never change the bed of cleaned the apartment until the last few days (it's a good thing my mum washed the bedding and cleaned when needed). 10, When we checked out this morning we went to book a Uber as to the airport was only 35 minutes away and would cost $55, but a member of staff said he would call us a taxi as he knows someone when the so call taxi pulled up we thought nothing of it wasn't until half to the airport we realised he took use the longer way so it was more like hour and half and it cost $145 when we arrive at the airport my mum noticed there was not name on the taxi or any other information you think they might have also he took off his suit jacket off and there was no identity badge. I wouldn't recommend or stay here again just a waste of money
