A True Hampton Loved their hospitality! A great customer service and super friendly staff. Very clean rooms, little old public space but it like old but gold Hampton which has that Hamptonality not only alive but it’s booming! I would highly recommend this place for safe, convenient, clean and friendly stay. Would be definitely staying again in January when I am here for 4 nights.

Enjoy a stay where modern comfort meets historic charm just minutes from Main Street, St. Charles, and savour complimentary amenities that make every visit feel effortless and refined!

Saint Charles, Missouri: Where Frontier Heritage Meets Modern American Charm

Steeped in early American history, Saint Charles stands proudly along the banks of the Missouri River as one of the state’s oldest settlements. Founded in 1769, the city served as Missouri’s first state capital and played a pivotal role in westward expansion, famously welcoming Lewis and Clark before their historic expedition. Today, its cobblestone streets, 19th-century brick buildings, and lovingly preserved riverfront evoke a sense of timeless pride, offering visitors a rare glimpse into the nation’s frontier past intertwined with civic spirit and architectural grace.

Beyond its historic core, Saint Charles thrives as a vibrant blend of heritage and progress. The revitalized Main Street brims with boutique shops, artisanal eateries, and local wineries, while Lindenwood University adds a youthful vigor to the city’s cultural fabric. Proximity to St. Louis allows for easy access to metropolitan attractions, yet Saint Charles retains its own distinct rhythm—one of community, craftsmanship, and enduring American resilience.

A Great Experience We arrived super early, which was good, but we expected to have to wait several hours for our room to be ready. The woman at the desk, Yogi, was a lifesaver. She rearranged things so our room would be cleaned immediately, and after about 30 minutes, she got us into our room. Absolutely grateful! Also, a hat tip to Tim, who was excellent at checkout.

They went above and beyond Very pleasant night in the hotel--clean, quiet, etc. But hats off to the staff for going above and beyond after our adolescent son left a couple clothes at the hotel after we left. We called a few hours after checkout (after driving home and realizing they were left behind), and they looked for and found the clothes in the room. They offered to ship the clothes home to us. One of the employees (thanks Mosam!) literally went to the post office to pack and ship the clothes, and after finding out the cost would be more than I expected, offered to split the shipping price with us. This was outstanding service, and we can't be thankful enough for them going out of their way.

part of a long trip The manager really worked with us because of mistake that I booked after 1 AM. It doesn’t book for that day. We are already had traveled to go work in St. Louis and so when I get there, didn’t realize that the reservation was for the next day he was fully booked, but he did accommodate us three rules, also agreed to OK, the refund from my mistake Musab, the manager called me personally to let me know that Expedia was processing my refund

A little disappointing This hotel was not quite as nice as most Hampton Inns I have stayed in. Just a little worn and dingy. Carpet and furniture throughout a little worn and stained. Small, crowded breakfast area was very messy! They were slow to refill things. The floor was very sticky.
