Very easy to check in, didn’t need to call the hotel and book my stay as booking on Groupon goes straight to the hotels system. Rooms were very nice and staff were friendly. We were offered free breakfast and got free wifi all for a cheap price. They took my $50 deposits when I got there and returned it as soon as I left. Good visit.

Orlando, Florida: World-Famous Theme Parks and Cultural Surprises

Located in the center of Florida, Orlando may be forever associated with the Walt Disney World® Theme Parks—the world’s most-visited entertainment resort. Spanning roughly 30,000 acres, it encompasses four theme parks, two water parks, five golf courses, and the Disney Springs® Area. There’s no shortage of things to do here: begin your day by boarding a rocket-shaped three-seater that climbs to 180 feet before entering a deep black tunnel and racing past stars, satellites, and constellations. Walk across the park to sample Moroccan cuisine for lunch, or ride a dune buggy through a haunted mansion. Before heading back to the hotel, take in the nightly fireworks, laser, and water show. One of the most popular family destinations in the world, sunny Orlando is also home to Universal Orlando—which includes The Wizarding World of Harry Potter—SeaWorld, and Gatorland.

Those hoping to shake up the typical theme-park-dominated itinerary can head into downtown Orlando's vibrant arts district. The neighborhood boasts venues such as CityArts Factory, a multifaceted patchwork of gallery spaces, and SAK Comedy Lab, which hosts family-friendly improv shows five nights a week.

Bad experience We had completed the pre-check-in process a day prior, as allowed. However, when we arrived, our room was not ready, the front desk asked us to return in an hour. We came back an hour and a half later, only to be told again that the room was still not ready and to wait another 30 minutes. When we returned, they informed us that our room had been given to someone else and said that they don't guarantee the rooms you check-in during the check-in process. Naturally, I was very disappointed. I've been an Honors member for many years and have never encountered this issue before. I always pre-check in to select a higher floor because I’m a light sleeper. Instead, I was placed on a lower floor next to the elevators and could hear noise coming from the pool while trying to rest without been given an option to choose another room. This experience left me questioning the point of pre-check-in if the room I carefully selected can simply be reassigned. Had I known, I would’ve taken any available room without waiting around for hours. Additionally, the room had several maintenance issues, and the area outside the hotel was littered with trash and stagnant water, creating an unpleasant and unsanitary impression. Furthermore, a strong cleaning spray was used in the breakfast area and front lobby, which had an overpowering and unpleasant odor.

"Not our problem" is their motto. Don't stay here. Worst hotel experience in a long time. I can't believe this is Hilton branded. We booked a room for 5 people, we were given 2 queen beds. Their solution was to give us a roll away which worked, but the room was tiny so there was no usable space. Not even a place to open our luggage without blocking a doorway. They didn't want to do anything about it because it was booked through hotels.com. Did laundry there. The machine took my $3.25 and then crashed after 10 minutes. Went to front desk. Oh we can't do anything, that's managed through a third party. Not even a credit so that I could use another machine. They just shrugged their shoulders. They had machines on all the even floors. 2-8. We were on the second floor. 2 was occupied. 4 was the one that broke on me. 6 was already broken. I finally managed to wash a load of clothes on the 8th floor. Ice machine on our floor was broken. Had to go to another floor. Elevators - there were two and one of them was usually not working. Faster to take the stairs if not carrying luggage. Breakfast was mediocre, but did have a couple hot items. Juice was terrible. Gave me lip service that someone would call me to help make things right. Never got a call. They say right there on their front desk that they "guarantee" you are satisfied. It means nothing. Stay somewhere else where they actually care about customer service.

Your Standard, Reliable Hampton My stay here was just for a night, but I would return next time. The staff are friendly, the rooms are typical Hampton variety, and the location is central to I-Drive and the parks (although not pedestrian-friendly by any means, ‘cuz we’re in Orlando). I was a bit disconcerted that when I came to the front desk to check out the next morning, nobody showed up for about three minutes, and a sheet of paper with confidential guest details (like name and room number) was just laying out for anyone to see. Quality control check…that’s a no-no.
