The Las Vegas Strip: 24/7 Entertainment and Fine Dining

With an almost unlimited variety of casinos, bars, and live entertainment, the general consensus along the Las Vegas Strip seems to be “go big or go home.” And you can go really big here. Make a beeline for the dozens of 24-hour casinos lining the neon-lit Strip to tango with Lady Luck in high-stakes games of roulette, blackjack, and poker. Be sure to stick around for mealtimes—casinos on the Strip are known for their fine-dining restaurants.

Even Sin City isn’t all casinos, all the time. Go shopping at the high-end boutiques found inside most hotels on the Las Vegas Strip. Head to LINQ Promenade for a shopping and dining experience, then ride atop the High Roller observation wheel. Thanks to the strip’s re-creation of the Eiffel Tower at Paris Las Vegas and the Roman Empire at Caesars Palace, you can virtually travel the globe in just a few city blocks. And you’ll find a surprising number of activities in Las Vegas for kids hidden amid the raucous nightlife.

Housekeeping Housekeeping sucks. Had call several times to get room clean. One day I return at 2pm. Was given several towels with holes & no apology. Did not get royal treatment.

Not happy Over priced, A/C was not cool when we arrived, hair left in bathroom, NO fridge provided, no tea making facility, no rubbish bin in bathroom, small selection of vendors in food court, over priced cafe for breakfast, in helpful staff. Would not recommend this hotel. Plus took 1 hour to check in. Sorry we stayed here

Uncaring staff; dirty hotel Harrah’s had multiple times to make it right. They simply didn’t care. When I arrived I found the bathroom in my room had not been cleaned. I had already hung up my clothes and so I called and they send up someone from housekeeping. He acknowledged that it had not been cleaned and took photos. He said I could get a new room or they could send someone to clean it, and they would arrive in 10 minutes. I chose to have it cleaned since I had unpacked. I waited over an hour. Two calls to housekeeping and I gave up and went to the front desk. The staff said she would speak to a manager and came back and agreed to move me. No apology I was just an inconvenience to her. They acted like it was my fault. She said you have 20 minutes to move rooms before you key expires. I said can I have a little longer since I have to move the hanging clothes? She said no. I rushed to move my stuff. I had received a separate text from the hotel asking about how things were and I told them. They said oh we can have a manager call in 24-48 hours. I just wanted a clean room. Then. On top of this, the iron was dirty and as soon as I began ironing it left black stuff on my shirt. The hotel is old but there’s no excuse for poor cleaning or staff that is uncaring.

Always an enjoyable stay! Staying at Harrah’s is always an enjoyable experience. It’s a centrally located hotel, with remodeled rooms at a good value. It isn’t excessively loud and it doesn’t smell like smoke in the halls, which is great for getting some much needed rest after a night out.
