Sorry. Not a great experience. Sorry, but I didn't have a great experience. The bed was super low, about a foot off the floor. The mattress was old and the pillows were lumpy. The walk-in shower smelled funny and there was no lip to keep the water from running across the entire bathroom floor. And, no hand soap. No fridge. No complimentary coffee for coffee maker. (sure you could buy them off the mini-bar for $22)

Overcharged for poor service As a family of four travelling from the UK, we booked 2 rooms at the Harrah's hotel between 15th and 26th June 2025 and during check-in were asked if we required guest services throughout our stay. I asked if this was an extra charge and when told it wasn't and was included in the resort fees I informed the lady on the desk that I required this service. The room was cleaned the following day - Monday 16th of June, however on the evening of Thursday 19th June the room had still not been cleaned. We were sited on Floor 54 of the hotel and as we were unable to get hold of anybody by phone we made our way down to the front desk and queued for around 15 minutes while guests checked in. When eventually seen by a member of staff at around 7:15pm we informed the gentleman that we were not happy with the service provided by the hotel and informed him that our room had not been cleaned since Monday and upon checking on their system he informed me that the lady on check-in had mistakenly updated the system advising that we did not require guest services during our stay. This meant that the room had not been cleaned, bedding had not been changed and we had received no clean towels and had resorted to using our own beach towels. I then went on to inform the staff member that as we had been charged the resort fee (which was charged at over $550 per room throughout our stay) that we expected a much better service, especially as the TV in one of the rooms only worked for 3 days out of 10, the room did not have a refrigerator and the only amenity we used during our stay at the hotel was internet access. We did not access the fitness centre, make any calls, did not access the parking lot or use the safe and the sunbeds provided around the pool were chargeable so we didn't use them. The member of staff advised that the service we had received was unacceptable and assured us that their system had now been updated to ensure we received guest services for the remainder of our holiday. He then went on to advise that due to the poor service received the hotel would waive the resort fee for both rooms on this occasion and when I asked for email confirmation or a printout of this I was told that this was not possible at the moment, but he assured me that this had been actioned. Anyway, skip to the end of our holiday Thursday 26th June, our room had only been cleaned three more times, however we didn't make a further complaint as the resort fee was being waived and we managed to obtain towels from a lady cleaning rooms on another floor and was told to leave our rubbish outside of our room which we did. Initially both the resort fee and the $500 breakages fee was still showing as 'pending' on my banking app but both fees disappeared from my app on 23rd June and I assumed that the fees had not been charged. However, on Saturday 28th June having been back in the UK for a couple of days, the resorts fee of £415 plus a non sterling fee of £12.26 issued by my credit card issuer and dated Thursday 26th June was taken out of my bank. I emailed the hotel on Saturday 28th June asking what was going on but have still not received a reply. The holiday was booked as a double birthday celebration and despite us still enjoying our holiday in Vegas, our hotel stay left a lot to be desired.

Tub without hot water, rude front desk line manager + early check-in fee If you get room 34021 Valley Tower request a new room. Upgraded my hotel room to specifically have a tub available to bathe my toddler. The HOT water faucet on the tub never worked (engineering came up the first night and saw the issue, told us that someone would come by to fix it while we were out the following day, to have someone tell us that the engineers did not see an issue with hot water faucet. They said that engineering was going to come back to take a look but they never showed up. We were later told that the hot water faucet could not be fixed unless they turn off the water for the entire hotel - which is ridiculously untrue as no repairs or renovations would ever be possible for the hotel if that was a true statement. Sent an email to Harrah's and patiently waited 72 hours for a response as the auto response indicates. Beyond 72 hours and no response received. P.S. If you plan to arrive to the hotel before 3:30pm and want to check-in be prepared to be RUDELY told that it is a $50+ tax early check-in fee (even at 3:29pm) and to step out of line. You cannot even talk to someone unless you are willing to pay the early check-in fee. Do the early check-in online for $25.

No housekeeping, broken electrical outlets, extra incorrect charges Multiple issues related to poor customer service. First issue was a broken electrical outlet which was needed for a cpap. Room outlet broken which was needed to plug in a cpap. Made a series of calls to get the issue addressed. First call I reported the issue. They said they would send someone up in an expedited manner. Nobody showed. Second call informed them nobody showed up. Was told they would send somebody up in an expedited fashion. Nobody showed up again. Third call, I was informed that they could not fix it but would get me an extension cord. Nobody showed up. Fourth call I was informed they do not provide an extension cord. Unfortunately I do not pack extension cords in my carryon. Asked to speak to a manager. Was told they would call me back. Fifth call (the next day) manager found a cord and had it at the front desk for me. Second issue was house keeping never showed up. When I checked in they asked me if I wanted housekeeping. I answered yes. No housekeeping for entire 4 day stay. Had to repeatedly find housekeeping in the hallway to get enough towels. Third issue was a security charge to the card. Harrah's added a security deposit on the room. Harrah's added a security deposit. Found this on the receipt. Hotel forgot to refund it at the end of the stay. Had to call to get it removed.
