Hotel at a Glance: Harrah’s Reno

With something to do in every corner, Harrah’s Reno feels more like an enclosed city than a hotel. Down in the casino, high-rollers and casual players test their luck at the slot machines and craps tables. At the multiple onsite restaurants, guests laugh and chat over a meal.

  • Dine your way: Enjoy one of the multiple on-property eateries, which range from the upscale Harrah’s Steakhouse to the casual Joy Luck Noodle Bar. With each option of this deal, you get a $20 dining credit per stay.
  • Grab a nightcap at the Sapphire Lounge, where live entertainment starts every Friday and Saturday night at 8:30 p.m.
  • Dive in and have some fun enjoying a refreshing dip in the rooftop pool while soaking up the sun.
  • Catch a show at one of the live venues, which often hosts local talents, impersonators, and variety shows. Check out the list of headliners in the historical Sammy’s Showroom, or see free entertainment happening every weekend!
  • Head out into Reno, where you can visit local attractions such as the Terry Lee Wells Nevada Discovery Museum and the Nevada Museum of Art, and just steps away from Greater Nevada Field, home to the Reno Aces and Reno 1868FC.

Reno, Nevada: Casino City with Arts and Outdoor Adventure

Reno lives up to its billing as “The Biggest Little City in the World” thanks to its flashy casinos, cultural centers, and restaurants worthy of a much larger metropolis, all packed together on Virginia Street. If you need a break from courting Lady Luck at the big gaming palaces such as Circus Circus and Harrah’s (which was born here), head to the Truckee River Arts District to explore the Nevada Museum of Art and the National Automobile Museum. Because of its location at the foot of the Sierra Nevada and just east of Tahoe National Forest, the city also puts visitors within reach of rushing rivers and high mountain ranges for hiking, rafting, and gold-rush reenacting.
