One thing that would make this place even more desirable would be a hottub on the rooftop. I absolutely loved this place!!!!! Only one little complaint.....there were no pans or dishes for the oven.

Harrison Hot Springs, British Columbia: Mountain Views and Adventures on Harrison Lake

Visitors have sought out the healing powers of Harrison Hot Springs since the mid-19th century, when European settlers stumbled upon the warm mineral waters. In the past 150 years, a charming village—about a 90-minute drive from Vancouver—has been built up around the hot springs and adjacent Harrison Lake. Check out Kilby Historic Site to see a century-old general store, farm animals, and costumed actors that re-create life in the early 1900s (open seasonally). There's also a strong artistic presence in the village. Ranger Station Public Art Gallery features contemporary photography and eclectic paintings and sculptures by local artists.

Harrison Lake itself is a popular spot for kayaking, paddleboating, or fishing for salmon and trout. You can hike through the surrounding mountains during warm weather, and in winter, hit the slopes at Hemlock Resort, roughly an hour outside of the village.

I was not impressed with the way the rates are set up for the groupon and on the resorts website as the cottage we stayed in sleeps 6 (three queen size beds) yet the rates are based on 2 people with an additional 20.00 per person per night….this is misleading and can increases the rates substantially the rates should be based on a min of 3 people (personally I think 6 as it is can accommodate 6) they should also point out that the kitchen only has a cooktop and no stove as we brought our meals to cook in the oven and they could not go on the BBQ so we had to go out to buy alternate meals

Very nice area but should be better from April to November! Almost everything was closed included museums.

Place has no features at all to be called a "Resort". We're paid almost the same rate to stay in a "condo ish" facility with absolutely nothing to do, where we could have stayed in the main hotel/spa of the city. Really regretted to hve purchased it.
