Times Square, Manhattan: Flashy Neon Lights and World-Class Culture

Times Square is at the intersection of Broadway and Seventh Avenue in Midtown Manhattan. The famous address—affectionately known as “the Crossroads of the World”—is home to hypnotizing billboards, giant wraparound news tickers, and the neon lights of Broadway. Beyond the glitz and gimmicks, there are a number of cultural offerings in the area, ranging from museums to Michelin-rated restaurants. Buildings of historical and architectural interest include the Paramount Building and One Times Square, site of the annual New Year's Eve ball drop.

Nearby, the Museum of Modern Art houses a trove of masterpieces including Vincent van Gogh's The Starry Night, Claude Monet's Water Lilies paintings, and Andy Warhol's Campbell's Soup Cans. Save time for a stroll through the museum's outdoor sculpture garden, where installations are clustered around sparkling reflecting pools. About a mile north of Times Square, the David H. Koch Theater is home to one of the world’s foremost dance companies—the New York City Ballet, which stages contemporary works as well as classics like Swan Lake and The Nutcracker.

Great Stay!! Overall great experience. Check in and out was easy. The staff was very nice. The rooms were clean. The food at the onsite restaurant was delicious. I think the young lady's name is Amina. She was a great waitress and very nice. This hotel was in a convenient location walking distance to everything. There is a parking garage 2 minutes away as well. We also had a great view of the city from our room. I will definitely be staying here again and recommending.

Good location for tourist and friendly staff that are ready to help! First let me say the staff at this location are all friendly, helpful, and accommodating. Jbeth and G were so nice to my son and acknowledged his 16th birthday! The rooms were bigger than past rooms I've stayed at while visiting the city so I, personally, was very happy with the room size. The room did have a slight odor but I always come prepared because I know it can be difficult to manage with so many people in and out of a room. Good hot water in our shower which is always a plus for me. Our rooms were cleaned well daily with stock items replenished. We didn't get our bottle waters as a Hilton Honors but it was no biggie. The hotel location is also a plus as it's steps from Bryant Park and Times Square and walking distance to many attractions. We also loved that this was one of the Big Bus stops as we used the bus during our stay. I will be recommending this hotel to family and friends.

Michelle is everything I love about Hilton This hotel is a gem because of their employees! Let me tell you about one ray of sunshine that made my trip! Michelle!!!Michelle has a rare gift. From the very first moment, she makes you feel like you’ve known her for years, not as a customer, but as a friend. She is genuinely kind, incredibly helpful, and effortlessly warm, the kind of person who makes everything feel easier just by being there. Nothing ever feels forced or transactional. Her care and attention feel real and personal. By the end of the experience, you don’t feel like you’re leaving a service. You feel like you’re leaving family. Michelle is truly amazing, and she turns a great experience into an unforgettable one.
