Times Square, Manhattan: Flashy Neon Lights and World-Class Culture

Times Square is at the intersection of Broadway and Seventh Avenue in Midtown Manhattan. The famous address—affectionately known as “the Crossroads of the World”—is home to hypnotizing billboards, giant wraparound news tickers, and the neon lights of Broadway. Beyond the glitz and gimmicks, there are a number of cultural offerings in the area, ranging from museums to Michelin-rated restaurants. Buildings of historical and architectural interest include the Paramount Building and One Times Square, site of the annual New Year's Eve ball drop.

Nearby, the Museum of Modern Art houses a trove of masterpieces including Vincent van Gogh's The Starry Night, Claude Monet's Water Lilies paintings, and Andy Warhol's Campbell's Soup Cans. Save time for a stroll through the museum's outdoor sculpture garden, where installations are clustered around sparkling reflecting pools. About a mile north of Times Square, the David H. Koch Theater is home to one of the world’s foremost dance companies—the New York City Ballet, which stages contemporary works as well as classics like Swan Lake and The Nutcracker.

Great spot, poor quality Not the cleanliness hotel I've been in,bad windows lot of street noise, hotel water problems, 3 minutes to get hot shower, never hot in the tab, big water leakage under the door shower, floor completely wet, some staff need a better customer relation training, breakfast is poor, also with rotten pineapple, and little choice of food, generally could improve much more, I do not recommend this place, except for the central spot in town.

All it takes is one team member to make your trip unforgettable.. If you have the opportunity to meet or interact with Michelle at the front desk, consider yourself BLESSED! She went out of her way to make my stay unforgettable. Members in my party had never been to NYC before, and she ensured we had rooms with nicer views. Not to mention she spent over 30 minutes on the phone with me recommending parking garages, restaurants, and general things to do. When having conversations with her it did not feel like a front desk associate speaking to a guest - it felt like a kind person who genuinely cared about a stranger she never met prior to my stay. I would stay at this hotel again in a heartbeat simply because of Michelle. The other front desk associates were very friendly as well. As far as the hotel goes, the room views were great, housekeeping was efficient & timely, and the rooms were very quiet - my room was right next to an elevator and I didn't hear a sound. My one and only complaint is the elevator system within this hotel - there are only a handful (2 or 3 I believe) for 33 floors of rooms. I often found myself waiting around 5-8 minutes before getting an elevator. I stayed here for my master's graduation ceremony, and I will never forget it. Michelle made this trip a dream just by going out her way to be kind and caring. Thank you Michelle for being an amazing team member and above all just a really good person!

Best service I have ever got to deal with a mishap The hotel has a perfect location for an NYC tour, room was fantastic and the service was the best I have ever got to handle a mishap we had with the order. While we ordered several nights with 2 queen beds from AirBnB, AirBnB made some mistake and ordered one less night and only a single bed. While dealing with AirBnB was a nightmare and I had to go through a very tedious and long ordeal through them to be compensated on their own wrong doing - the amazing Ibeth from Hilton’s reception handled our crisis with an astonishing professionalism along the hotel manager waiting to see everything is being taking care of nicely. Hilton were very generous and fair with us and they made sure we had a great stay even though they actually had nothing to do with AirBnB’s failure. Very highly recommended! I will definitely return and recommend anyone I know to stay here.
