Hotel Stay at Holiday Inn Express Fishkill–Mid Hudson Valley – A Comfortable Retreat in New York’s Hudson Valley

Overcharging I stayed at the Holiday Inn located at 21 Schuyler Blvd, Fishkill, NY 12524 from November 4 through November 21, 2025. I checked out on the morning of November 21 at approximately 5:51 AM. Because I was rushing to work, I did not review the receipt at that exact moment. Later, when I reviewed my charges, I discovered that the hotel had billed me for an additional night and a no-show charge for another night—both of which are completely incorrect. When I contacted the hotel with my receipt for proof, the receipt given was tied to a guest name that is not mine. I reached out to management in good faith, expecting a simple correction for what is clearly a hotel error. Instead, the hotel has refused to cooperate or resolve the issue, despite being presented with documentation. This situation reflects poor billing practices and unacceptable customer service. Guests should not have to fight to correct mistakes caused by hotel staff. I strongly recommend that anyone staying here carefully review all charges immediately at checkout to avoid dealing with what I am now experiencing. Until this matter is resolved properly, I cannot recommend this property.

Not recommended Absolutely the worst hotel I’ve stayed at. WiFi doesn’t work, phone doesn’t work, room is very small, broken hook and run down bathroom, pool is tiny and water is murky, jacuzzi doesn’t jet but only with stale hot water. There is only one person working at the front desk so you have to wait in line for anything and everything. You can’t get into the pool area without a staff swiping you in, and there are no towels in there unless you go tell the front desk in your wet bikinis. The worst of all, it’s so loud and noisy at night that it’s impossible to sleep. The hotel is located off a busy high way but is also right next to a gas station, loud motorcycles and muffling sound all night long, even if you fall asleep you can still be awake by the awful sound. I like to sleep with fresh air (windows opened) but this forces me to close the windows which does not block the noises at all. So I ended up sleeping in a muffled room (with no fresh air circulation) and loud noises from outside.

Comfy beds This hotel was very accommodating and the staff was extremely friendly. We enjoyed socializing in the lobby and breakfast area. We thoroughly enjoyed our three nights stay and will definitely return again. This location was close to restaurants and shopping areas. Again, kudos to the staff!
