Good old Holiday Inn As a business owner and frequent visitor to the Holiday Inn at mid Beach Miami, I have to say beyond the old school atmosphere behind a few stains hereand there their reaps, a feeling of friendship, family, and warmth behind all the employees especially kaira Natalia and Maria that are in and around the paradise restaurant. I have to tell you I come back here after the year because I’ve been to the resorts and when you have people that truly treat you like family it’s a godsend and I really feel that way I almost wanna be boredwith going to your hotel the same time every year but the employees represent the excellence of this holiday and I can’t say anymore about them. I recommend this place and I hope you keep it the way it Every employee has helped me there. They’ve gone beyond their responsibilities.

Miami Beach, Florida: White-Sand Beaches, Glamorous Nightlife, and Cuban Cuisine

Miami Beach is a small barrier island situated between the Atlantic Ocean and Biscayne Bay, a shallow lagoon that separates the beaches from downtown Miami. People from all over the world come here to enjoy the white-sand beaches, shop the high-end boutiques, and party at the legendary see-and-be-seen nightclubs the city is known for. The red-hot center of this sexy, international social scene is South Beach, a 20-block stretch filled with upscale lounges, rooftop bars, and ultrahip hangouts behind velvet ropes. Lummus Park beach is packed by mid-morning, and the clubs on Ocean Drive and Washington Avenue—many of which stay open until 5 a.m.—vie for the limelight with VIP service, celebrity DJs, and dressed-to-the-nines crowds.

Beyond the fast-paced luxury of South Beach lies Miami Beach’s softer side. A leisurely stroll through the Art Deco District reveals hundreds of beautiful, candy-colored buildings, including Versace Mansion—a 1930 manor modeled after a palace in the Dominican Republic that belonged to Christopher Columbus’s family. The centerpiece of the city’s arts scene, the Bass Museum of Art displays works from Peter Paul Rubens and Sandro Botticelli, and modern-design objects and propaganda arts fill three stories at the Wolfsonian-FIU museum. There’s also a handful of vibrant ethnic enclaves to explore here, and Little Havana is among the most notable. The neighborhood is lined with family-owned restaurants and Caribbean-style marketplaces, making it a great place to discover some of the country’s most delicious Cuban food, from sugary guarapo juice to pastelitos, or Cuban pastries.

One night was enough The location is prime and the hotel has the potential for being good, but it felt under resourced and over priced. The rooms were clean and house keeping incredibly hard working. Consierge and bellhops were helpful and kind. The experience was a mixed bag.

Needs new management. Save your money. This hotel needs a refresh, and the management is quite rude. The location is good, but there are hundreds of better options in this area. I generally like staying at IGH properties and am a loyalty club member, but I cannot recommend this particular hotel at this time.

Double Charged for the Same Stay – Very Poor Handling I had a very disappointing experience with this hotel due to a serious billing issue. I paid for my room in cash, but after checking out, the hotel charged the full room amount again to my credit card. This resulted in a double charge for the same stay. I have called several times to request that they review the situation and reverse the incorrect charge. Unfortunately, each time I was told that they have no record of the charge and that they cannot do anything, which is unacceptable. The charge is clearly visible on my credit card statement. This lack of accountability and poor customer service is extremely frustrating. A hotel of this level should have proper billing controls and take responsibility when clear mistakes happen. I would not recommend staying here unless you are prepared to closely monitor your payments and credit card statements.
