I was vert upset they moved my car from the parking lot to the street due to lot repair, which I was told nothing about. this alone almost made me say no to returning.

Couldn't find the breakfast area and the attendant at the front desk was very rude saying we didn't have a reservation. When she realized we did have one, she didn't apologize for her error; and then said, the hotel was only 20% full that night. It was a weird experience. The girl had no idea what a smile is.

AVOID This Hotel - New Management Will Charge Erroneous Fees for Everything! I have spent at least 50 nights at this hotel during work travel over the last 9 years. It used to be a fine Holiday Inn property, but has recently come under new ownership/management and I will never stay there again. They no longer keep the same IHG standards. They charged me for an early check-in fee despite me being a diamond member and pointing this out to them. My travel agent had to call the GM to get this charge dropped. The breakfast is not as good as it used to be. The onsite restaurant was not always open during their advertised hours. My coworker got charged an erroneous $500 smoking fee despite him not being a smoker/vaper. He tried dispute the fee and insisted that the sensor must have had a faulty reading since there was nothing he did that could have set it off but they refused to drop the fee. During my stay the hotel fire alarms went off falsely several times, so I'm not sure if those are the same systems used to apply smoking fees, but if so they certainly don't work. Also, they never used to charge for parking, now they charge $12 a day when it is not a downtown location. It just seems like the new management is trying to nickel and dime guests. I HIGHLY recommend avoiding this property until new management can meet the level expected of an IHG property.

Perfect Hotel For A Quick One Night Stay Stayed here one night after a late arrival into PHX. The room was definitely showing some age, but everything was clean and the bed was comfortable. All staff interactions were friendly.

Terrible & we’ve only been here an hour. I’ve had to go to front desk four times because the keycard doesn’t work. This property is set up as separate buildings that has a decorative security fence with locked gates around it Our room is in a completely different building than the front desk. Four separate times, when we left property, our keycard would not let us in the gates. It’s 98 degrees outside & each time, we have to haul ourselves back to front desk to get a different key card. By this last time (the 4th time), the guy at front desk suggested it was my fault because I’m carrying the keycard wrong (too close to a magnet) because no one else is having this problem. He asked if it was working on my room lock & I found that to be infuriating since if I wasn’t able to even GET to my room yet. He was extremely rude & condescending.
