Super friendly staff, and very clean hotel. The staff here was fantastic. The young lady that checked me in was super friendly. The next morning my rental car would not start, and another young lady at the front desk said that she had jumper cables, and would meet me at my car. Two minutes later, in the cold and the rain, she pulled up along with the maintenance man to help me with my issue. They went above and beyond. Two thumbs up to them.

Houston, Texas: Space History and Museums in Nation’s Fourth-Largest City

As the nation’s fourth-largest city by population, Houston has established itself as one of the Gulf Coast’s most thriving cultural hubs. The city's museum district has 19 museums covering everything from history to art to science. For art lovers, the Menil Collection—which Frommer calls “one of the great private collections of the world”—is a must-see. Here, you’ll browse an array of 20th-century art from Jasper Johns, René Magritte, and Andy Warhol, as well as artefacts from Africa and the Pacific Islands.

You could also spend an entire day exploring Houston’s science institutions. When Apollo 13 astronaut Jim Lovell famously stated, “Houston, we have a problem,” he was talking to mission control at Space Center Houston. Here, visitors can tour the historic mission control room and get a behind-the-scenes look at astronauts training for the International Space Station. Along Houston’s Hermann Park, The Health Museum exhibits a large-scale human body that you can enter to learn about how your organs operate.

Homewood not so at Home feeling!! Rooms need to be updated with better A/C and furniture. And there is a bug problem. The staff was very helpful and welcoming, other than a few issues with payment but it was handled professionally. Not the worst hotel I’ve stayed in but definitely not the Best!

Do not stay here. I’m not even sure where to begin. We had booked a two bedroom suite, upon arrival we were told they overbooked, so my children had to sleep on the couch. The first room we went to had a large water leak under the sink and old food was floating in the water. The second room, the cabinet doors were falling off, the refrigerator door wouldn’t stay closed, so we had a prop a chair against it, there was massive hole in the wall behind the door. Half of the lightbulbs in the room were burned out, the first night two cars in the parking lot were broken into. There’s almost no security cameras outside the building. The second night we were upgraded to our original room, but the couch severely sagged in the middle were the hide a bed was broken. The thermostats in the room were set at76, it took 12 hours to cool the rooms down to a comfortable temperature. Be warned there’s a massive amount of poison ivy by the pool.

Okay, but very dated We have loved staying here over the years because of the location and they have two bedroom suites; however, this hotel sorely needs updating. The furnishings are very worn out…marks on the furniture, thread bare sofas etc. The carpet in the rooms seems unclean and on the carpets in the hallways, you will see what looks like bleached out spots. Before Covid, I thought they were beginning to do some updates, and there was more attention to details from the breakfast to the accommodations. But, maybe plans to remodel have changed. I don’t want to be too critical, but it seriously needs some work. Next time we visit, I will look to see what else is available in the area.

No Airport shuttle Hotel’s name is Hilton Parc Airport, and advertised free airport shuttle. Arrived at airport and only reason we chose this location, and learned no shuttle. Breakfast was mediocre. Front desk clerk very insensitive and lacked tact as we had three rooms reserved to attend my brother’s funeral. Front desk clerk said no parties. Explained why we were there, she just giggled and said glad no parties.
