June 2025 I like the size of the junior suite. I wish they would stop giving me the room that faces the parking garage. They do this even after I have tipped them $20.00. How much tip is a person supposed to tip at check-in?

The Las Vegas Strip: 24/7 Entertainment and Fine Dining

With an almost unlimited variety of casinos, bars and nightclubs, and live entertainment, the general consensus along the Las Vegas Strip seems to be “go big or go home.” And you can go really big here. Make a beeline for the dozens of 24-hour casinos lining the neon-lit Strip to tango with Lady Luck in high-stakes games of roulette, blackjack, and poker; or grab a front-row seat to the city’s over-the-top glitz at nightly magic, acrobatic, and musical performances. Be sure to stick around for mealtimes—casinos on the Strip are known for their fine-dining restaurants and extravagant buffets overflowing with crab legs and prime rib.

Even Sin City isn’t all casinos, all the time. Go shopping at the high-end boutiques found inside most hotels on the Las Vegas Strip, or head to Fashion Show Las Vegas to browse racks at Neiman Marcus, Macy’s, and Saks Fifth Avenue. You can also virtually travel the globe in just a few city blocks, thanks to the Strip’s re-creation of the Statue of Liberty, the Eiffel Tower, and Venetian canals. And you’ll find a surprising number of activities in Las Vegas for kids hidden amid the raucous nightlife.

Hotel/Casino in Las Vegas, NV Location is pretty good, smack right in the middle of the strip with lots of places nearby. Hotel wise, was a bit disappointing—the style here is very old, not modern/contemporary. Got a Resort Room Two Queens—room was spacious but again, decor was old looking. Room had a fridge and safe. The air conditioning is capped at a certain temperature so the room couldn’t get as cold as we wanted. Not many restaurants here, but they do have a food court downstairs open late. There are a few bars as well. Also, it’s walkable (indoor) to Paris, where there’s a lot more restaurant options and more energetic bars. Parking wise, we valet since it free for us—they have kiosks outside where you scan your ticket and our car came out fairly quick, the valet staff are nice too.

Pool closed yet again and guests treated with such disrespect. I visit Vegas twice a year and for the last 10 years have booked Bally's or as it is now known the Horseshoe. Last September despite advertising I could "wade my cares away at the Blu Pool" it was closed. This year on my 1st trip in May they only opened the pool Friday, Saturday and Sunday - not even opening it for Memorial Day. They keep this very quiet when booking and so they care not a jot for the mobility of guests when informing us we should make use of the Paris pool, which is actually a 15 min walk away, care not a jot for the chaos caused by insufficient sun beds for the merged guests of 2 hotels, care not a jot for limiting guests to just one towel to cover the excessively hot metal of sun beds and not a jot for guests wandering through public areas and a casino in wet swimwear to return to their rooms. Like much of Vegas the hotel has become very very greedy and with no interest in or respect for the visitors who spend a lot of money in their city. Getting charged a nightly resort fee of nearly $60 dollars for unused gym and wi fi services just pours salt on the wound. They should use that $60 "to employ the qualified lifeguards" - the shortage of whom seem to be the root cause of the closure. Why can't they just "lift" the floor of the deep end during the long closed season to resolve the need for specialist lifeguards as it seems a simple solution and especially after the millions paid to upgrade the Flamingo poo area? My visit usually includes a second week at the Westgate where at least towels are unlimited and only when heavily booked are sun beds at a premium. I believe my 25 year love affair with Vegas and its shopping, the shows, the slots (!) is coming to end. You no longer deserve me or or my money. What's Reno like???

Don't stay here when looking for a hotel in Vegas. Check in staff were totally rude. They basically acted like we were inconveniencing them. Way too much smoking in the lobby. Terrible layout/floor plan which seemed intentional. No good inside hanging out places other than casino. Dark and dingy. No coffee in room. Gross place.
