The Las Vegas Strip: 24/7 Entertainment and Fine Dining

With an almost unlimited variety of casinos, bars and nightclubs, and live entertainment, the general consensus along the Las Vegas Strip seems to be “go big or go home.” And you can go really big here. Make a beeline for the dozens of 24-hour casinos lining the neon-lit Strip to tango with Lady Luck in high-stakes games of roulette, blackjack, and poker; or grab a front-row seat to the city’s over-the-top glitz at nightly magic, acrobatic, and musical performances. Be sure to stick around for mealtimes—casinos on the Strip are known for their fine-dining restaurants and extravagant buffets overflowing with crab legs and prime rib.

Even Sin City isn’t all casinos, all the time. Go shopping at the high-end boutiques found inside most hotels on the Las Vegas Strip, or head to Fashion Show Las Vegas to browse racks at Neiman Marcus, Macy’s, and Saks Fifth Avenue. You can also virtually travel the globe in just a few city blocks, thanks to the Strip’s re-creation of the Statue of Liberty, the Eiffel Tower, and Venetian canals. And you’ll find a surprising number of activities in Las Vegas for kids hidden amid the raucous nightlife.

Room trouble My husband and I and 2 friends went to vegas for a friend trip. The horseshoe customer service number had me stressing for a week over the potential of my room no longer being comped. It was "escalated" and I was supposed to receive a phone call but never did. Magically when I got there everything was fine. Once checked in, our bathroom toilet had broke 3 times within 24 hours. When I went down to the front desk after the 3rd break, I asked for our resort fees to be waived. The desk lady said well we need to do a room change because of the issue. I explained I'd like to refrain because it was a lot of stuff to move. She RESPONDED with "how r u going to use the bathroom then". So she walked away. When she returned she had our room changed and said it was going to be on the same floor and it would be the same type of room. She also said she was only going to comp one night of resort fees for the inconvenience. When we moved rooms we were in the LAST room on the total opposite end of the floor, so that completely took away the convenience of trying to not have to travel far. Then once we settled in, the new room was obviously smaller. We had no makeup vanity like the first one did. We had no charging station box like the first room to be able to charge all devices necessary. I was livid. I let them know... they only brought up a small mirror that was supposed to be a vanity mirror that didn't work properly. I will definitely rethink staying at the horseshoe next visit.

Veronica to the rescue! Upon arrival, we encountered a bit of a snag—we needed to merge two separate reservations into one. What could have meant a long wait in line and a room switch was quickly turned around thanks to Veronica, the kiosk manager. She stepped in like a pro, worked magic on the keyboard, and even called the head manager to find the best solution so we wouldn’t have to pack up and change rooms. It was truly first-class service. Veronica went above and beyond to ensure a smooth experience, and that level of care is so rare these days. We’re incredibly grateful!

Sad Condtion I’ve stayed at Bally’s and now called Horseshoe many times in the last 25 plus years. But no more…room was beyond dirty, worn and outdated. And charging $50.00 for resort fees adds to the disgust. The room was so dusty I could write my name in it. No more…

Great Location, Needs Some Help Housekeeping could use some work, the food court is way overpriced and food was not hot. Overall the location is great and I have no complaints over staff.
