Hotel at a Glance: Hotel Becket Lake Tahoe, Trademark Collection by Wyndham

Hotel Becket Lake Tahoe, Trademark Collection by Wyndham borrows its name from the nautical rope used to bind two other ropes together. It’s a concept that also exemplifies the hotel’s dedication to bringing travelers together for memorable vacations in South Lake Tahoe’s vibrant downtown. This sense of unity also influences the hotel’s guest rooms; choose from alpine-accented Tahoe Blue rooms or boutique-style Heavenly rooms, each of which come with amenities including flat-screen TVs, designer furnishings, and architectural flourishes including reclaimed-wood fixtures.

  • Explore the mountains: The hotel sits across the street from Heavenly Village, the bustling shopping center that acts as the gondola gateway to the region’s unparalleled mountain trails.
  • Eat well: The resort’s signature Ten Crows restaurant pairs delectable barbecue cooked over authentic Alabama-style fire pits with craft cocktails and beers from local Tahoe breweries.
  • Stay warm in the indoor hot tub and sauna.

South Lake Tahoe, California: Year-Round Haven for Outdoor Adventures and Late-Night Revelry

Lake Tahoe has no real off-season; people find ways to make use of its pristine water, beaches, and mountains all year long. In the summer, the lake’s clear, freshwater surface—which straddles the California-Nevada border—is dotted with swimmers, boaters, and jet skiers. Several ski resorts typically stay open from November to April, and Emerald Bay State Park is accessible year-round. A moderately easy hike to the base of Lower Eagle Falls reveals breathtaking views of the waterfalls crashing down from above.

Spectators gather at night for South Lake Tahoe’s events, which range from wine and food festivals to rock concerts and fireworks displays. A few miles northwest of South Lake Tahoe sits Stateline, Nevada, where a handful of casinos host high-stakes games of blackjack and solitaire.

Fantastic location ! Right across the street from raleys and Starbucks and only a 5 min walk to casinos. Hotels was nice ! Restaurant was AMAZING ! You can hear cars going down street while sleeping :/ and dogs are allowed in rooms so we would get woken up in the morning by a occasional bark. There's sliding barn door to bathroom that separates it's self from room. So not much privacy lol

Convenient location. Loved the bar attached w the fire pits in the back. Very chill atmosphere. Love that it’s dog friendly. The room was nice. Bed was very comfortable. The only down fall was the shower was very tiny and poorly designed.
