Hotel at a Glance: Hotel Crescent Court

Thirty million dollars gave the 5-star Hotel Crescent Court a top-to-bottom makeover, transforming everything from the guest rooms to the fitness center. Throughout the space, luxe materials like marble and limestone in neutral shades are complemented by blush and gold accents.

  • Bubbly and light bites: Beau Nash pairs champagne cocktails with salads and small plates.
  • Dining options include high-end Japanese restaurant Nobu.
  • Spotlight on studio suites: These 625-square-foot retreats have soaking tubs and floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the courtyard.
  • Where to get some sun: the deck around the rooftop pool.
  • Spa day: The Rose Grand Cru facial aims to rejuvenate and moisturize even the most sensitive skin.

Dallas, Texas: Rejuvenated Urban Districts and Historical Parks

Though some know Dallas only for the massive AT&T Stadium (which is actually in Arlington), the city is also an enclave of arts and nature, overflowing with botanical gardens, art galleries, and live theater. Historic Main Street connects many of the city’s recently rejuvenated urban districts, as well as the popular Main Street Garden, a block-long public park surrounded by architecturally significant buildings.

A short walk from downtown Dallas, you’ll find horse-drawn carriages clopping along brick streets in the city’s historic West End district, which dates back to the 19th century. This part of the city also contains Dealey Plaza, where President Kennedy was assassinated in November 1963. At The Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza, housed in the former Texas School Book Depository, you can visit the spot where Lee Harvey Oswald is believed to have shot at Kennedy’s presidential motorcade.

It wasn’t an option to choose a king or queen but we received a king. The whole stay was amazing! Very resort like and I’m walking distance or trolley car ride to amazing restaurants and sites. My only negative is that the fridge in the room is a mini bar so you can’t store anything inside it.
