Extraordinary Great experience at Villa Lapas! Staff were attentive and very friendly; Magali in reception made sure we had everything we needed and request were fulfilled is an expedited manner; Edgar was a great tour guide- we were able to experience Costa Rica’s jungle life to its fullest and was able to see all the animals we had in mind and more; Dixon and Erick were great bartenders and waiter with great mannerism and great suggestions ; because of them we were able to have a great time during our stay and look forward to visiting them once again _

Will not be my only trip What a great find! I loved my trip. If you are looking for an outdoor hotel type experience, this is great! The staff was very nice. I only gave a 4 star, because the rooms could use a little TLC, but just fine. If, like me, you want to be in the rainforest... expect rain, birds, frogs, lizards, etc.

Would not recommend Really poor experience at Villa Lapas. The grounds of the hotel are beautiful but the rooms are really outdated and ugly. The all inclusive is terrible, the only drinks that are included are sugary, low-quality drinks. Food is also quite meh. Dixon from the restaurant is the only outstanding staff, he really goes above and beyond. Overall, I would not recommend this hotel if traveling internationally, seems more like a local spot with quite low standards.

Great experience! Excellent service! The place is just the one to go to if you want to unwind, desconect and eat delicious food. The service is great, and they will always be there to help and make sure you are having the best possible experience. Food was superb!

Villa Lapas family weekend Villa Lapas is a great hotel with and amazing staff service. They went above and beyond to make our stay the best. We would definitely recommend this hotel and it's tours. Also, beautiful natural sight we loved the river sounds. The food needs a little bit of work.
