Great gem of a hotel This was a great hotel. Within walking distance of the capital, close to the red line, and plenty of restaurants and bars around, though the Fig Leaf is fantastic.

Personality Plus This property has such personality. It’s very much about feminine power. Lots of art and great service (shout out to Ezekiel). The neighborhood is nice as well. My room was small, but comfortable. I will add this to my list of hotels in DC.

Gracious Service We have stayed at Hotel Zena several times, and each time we are pleased with our stay. Our daughter is a masters program student at GWU and lives nearby. The lobby area is inviting and is a good place to gather. The rooftop pool and bar area is fun; the breakfast and coffee are convenient; and the rooms are nice. The staff is exceptional, and I'd like to especially commend DeLisha who each time we have stayed has shown special care. Just the way she remembers you -- and was kind to my 27 year old son when he checked in -- is special. I believe she is the manager, and her gracious attitude definitely permeates through the staff.

Fun, warm, and welcoming Shervon and Austin did a great job taking care of us this evening. We felt very welcome on this cold December day. I got a hot apple cider cocktail and it was delicious!
